"merry christmas!" i said walking into my boyfriend matt's house greeting his family. "merry christmas lex!" nick said. "where's matt i have his present" i smiled.
"he's upstairs,but i will warn you now he is in a grumpy mood" chris laughed. "it's fine" i laughed walking upstairs
"hey matty, merry christmas" i smiled at him. "hey, merry christmas" i tried giving him a kiss but then he completely swerved me and gave me a hug instead.
"you ok?" i asked him. "we need to talk" he said. "is very thing alright?" i asked. "well no" he sighed.
"ok" i said confused. "i think we should break up" he let out. "what?" i asked. a felt stinging in my eyes.
"i think we should break up, it's not working" "so you decided to break up with me on christmas?" i asked. "well-" "no matt! i don't get it, we've been dating for over a year and now your saying that's it's not working?" i asked.
"it's just what i feel lexi! i don't think it's working" he said. "fuck you" i got up took my stuff and left.
"hey where you going?" nick asked. i didn't even answer. i just slammed the front door of the house.
what the actual fuck. my boyfriend- well now ex boyfriend of almost two years broke up with me because he thought that something was wrong? he didn't even want to talk it out.
that just proves that the last two years i've spent in this relationship ment nothing. and this whole thing was so out of character for matt.
