A/N: Alternate ending
(Warning: swearing)
No One's POV:
Lately, Max has been noticing something different. Her girlfriend, El, was seemingly acting a bit... off. By that, she's been acting suspicious for a few days. Max didn't think it was anything at first, but it kept going for a bit, and she came to the conclusion that El had a secret.
Well, one day, Max wanted to see if she could find out if El actually was hiding something. She tried to think of a way to get her to talk, then she remembered something: El was ticklish. Max knew that El couldn't fight back against being tickled, so she decided to use tickling to make El talk. But to do that, she'd have to trick her.
Max called El and told her that she had something special for her, but in order for El to know what it was, she'd have to come to Max's house to see. El was a bit confused at first, but decided to go for it. She excitedly said she'd be right over, then they exchanged "I love yous" and the conversation ended. That's when Max started part 2 of her plan.
El biked the whole way to the Max's house. She went a little faster than usual due to being so excited to see what that "something special" was that Max had for her. Little did she know, it was not what she thought it was.
When El reached Max's house, she hopped off her bike and ran to the front door and knocked. When there was no answer, El decided to use her powers to open the door. When she did, she stepped inside and closed it.
El: "Hello? Max? Are you here? It's El. I'm here for my 'something special' now.'"
She smiled at that last bit. She slowly walked across the living room in case she started to hear movement, but she heard nothing. She inched closer to Max's room, slowly getting nervous about what might jump out at her. The door was open. She looked inside, but Max's room appeared empty.
El: "Max... you in here?"
El slowly walked in and looked around to find Max, but then, the door immediately shut behind her, and Max was shown to be hiding behind it the whole time.
Max: "Boo!"
El quickly turned around, nearly scared out of her mind.
El: "Jesus fuck, Max! You scared me."
El sat on Max's bed to try to catch her breath. Suddenly, she heard a click sound. She looked up and saw that Max had locked the door. El was a bit surprised.
El: "Max...?"
Max: "Hmm?"
El: "W-what are you doing?"
Max pretends to innocently giggle.
Max: "Just preparing to give you my surprise, silly."
El: "Oh... good. I can't wait to see what it is."
Max didn't say anything after that, but she did however get on top of the bed and pin El down so she wouldn't escape. Max held El's arms above her own head. Max's breath was starting to get a little heavy.
El: "What... what are you doing?"
Max's facial expression and voice changed to a more stern type, but in a way that El knew that Max wasn't that stern.
Max: "See, here's the thing: I know you've been acting suspicious for the past few days. I know that you've got a secret that you're wanting to hide from me. If you want me to let you go, then you better start talking."
El couldn't believe that Max was able to figure that out. She thought she hid it pretty well, but she guessed it wasn't enough. She wasn't about to give up that quickly, though.
