Max's POV:
Right now, I'm in Vecna's mind, trying to hide from him until he is killed. Everything goes alright first, then things got dark, literally. Everything around me was darkening, and I could hear the sound of Vecna. I try to barricade the door so that he doesn't get in, but he did.
Next thing I knew, he threw me up against a wall. While holding me there with his powers, he comes closer to me. Once he approaches me, he examines me.
Vecna: "You are brave... Maxine... just like your brother. But in the end... you are weak... just like him... and you... will... break."
He raises his huge left hand up in front of my face. Just as he's about to kill me, he's suddenly jerked back into the air, causing me to drop to the ground. When I look up, I see a sight I never thought I'd see. It was El.
She was here, holding Vecna up in the air with her powers. I was relieved to see her, but at the same time, I didn't know whether or not I was seeing things. She wheels Vecna around to face her, and he is not happy.
Vecna: "You..."
El: "Hi..."
She throws him to the ground. When he's down, she rushes to me and helps me up.
El: "Max, are you okay?"
I was still a bit confused.
Me: "Huh?"
She repeats.
El: "Are you okay?"
Me: "Uh, yeah. Wait... are you real? Did I make you?"
I start to feel her around. She takes my hand, and she does something I never thought she'd do: she kissed me. She brought her lips up to mine, and she kissed me. My eyes widened like crazy, but I eventually melted into the warm kiss. When she pulls away...
El: "I'm real."
Me: "How?"
El: "I piggybacked from a pizza dough freezer."
Wait, what?
Me: "Huh?"
I look over and see Vecna slowly stand up. El turns around and sees it, too.
El: "Stay back."
I do so as she gets closer to Vecna. The two stare at each other like an old, mid-western movie scene.
El: *to Vecna* "If you touch her again... I will kill you again."
Vecna: "Is that what you did? Hmm? Did you kill me?"
I could tell this was about to get intense.
Vecna: "I am so glad you are here, Eleven. This is going to be... beautiful."
Vecna starts lifting pieces of wood off the ground.
Vecna: "So beautiful... and it's all thanks to you."
He throws the wood at Eleven, and she flings them to the side before they can hit her. Turns out it was a distraction. Just then, he started flinging her around with his abilities. I tried to stop Vecna with a piece of the wood, but he throws me back to the ground.
