Synopsis: The group (Nancy, Mike, Eleven, Max, Dustin, Lucas and Will) are fighting Vecna in the Creel house basement, but in this chapter, Vecna somehow took Eleven's powers away and placed her in his control. Max saves Eleven, but is impaled with a random spike.

No One's POV:

Eleven stayed with Max the whole time while Nancy, Lucas, Will, Mike and Dustin were trying to beat Vecna. She has her jacket pressed against Max's chest to stop the bleeding. As Eleven looks at the group, she sees they're having trouble. They find an opening and try to escape, but Vecna stops them.

Vecna: "Gotcha!"

Every one of them stop in their tracks.

Vecna: "You filthy little children."

Will: "You got a plan B, man? What the hell do we do now?!"

Vecna: "You die, that's what you do!"

Mike: "Dustin?"

Dustin comes to a realization.

Dustin: "There's more than one way to make someone small."

Vecna: *groans annoyingly*

Nancy: "M-make him believe that he is."

Lucas: *confusingly* "What?"

Dustin: "Make him believe that he is!"

Vecna: "Oh, me? Small?"

Vecna laughs an evil laugh.

Vecna: "I am the killer of souls."

Dustin: "Not to us, you're not."

There is about 3 seconds of silence.

Dustin: "You're just a coward."

Vecna's face changes to a frown. He's about to use his powers, but Nancy stops him.

Nancy: "You're a weak asshole."

The group looks at each other.

Vecna: "Killer of souls!!"

Lucas: "Uh-a-a grey-skinned freak!"

Vecna stops.

Mike: "You're scared of all of us!"

Vecna stumbles back.

Eleven: "You're a fucking loser!!"

One by one, the group, including Eleven, takes turns shouting out insults at Vecna, causing him to stumble back with each one. During the moment, Eleven hesitantly leaves Max's side to go help the others. She steps in and tears off Vecna's left arm and throws it another way.

She and the others continue to chant insults until Vecna is as small as... well... a tiny creature. Mike slowly leans in, tears through Vecna's chest with his hand, grabs his heart out and holds it in front of him. The other five each place their hand on the heart. When they're all there, they squeeze the literal life out of the heart until Vecna dries out.

The six let go of Vecna's crumbled heart and let it all fall to the floor. They all place their arms around each other in victory. But then, Eleven realizes something.

El: "Max..."

She and the others rush back to where Max is sitting up against a wall. Eleven kneels down in front of her and smiles.

El: "Max, we did it. We finally defeated Vecna."

No movement from Max, Eleven's smile slowly fades.
