Chapter 9: Lighting

Chole's Pov

 i was staring at Red her eyes filled with fury. her eyes kept blaring with a powerful light-like flash. she sighed trying to calm herself, before she came over to me she checked my whole body making sure i had no scratches. her eyes still showing with lighting "Red..ur eyes.." i say concerned she looked up and i shuddered "What's wrong with my eyes my love" her voice calm tho i could tell she was still fuming over the situation "Your eyes.. keep flashing like lighting" she looked at me skeptically "well uh...that's cool" she smerked "Red I'm series" she laughed then she went back to a serious face "who was he. and why did he have such beef you?" I sighed "Red he's my ex, Max son of Morgie. When I dated him he wasn't exactly a cuddle bear" She nodded her eyes fierce as she listened

 "During that relationship, I had learned that I was.. that i liked girls but he wasn't someone who was supportive of it" Red looked so mad it scared me "Chlo did he do anything to you" I looked at Red the lighting flashed faster "uh.. he never let me doing anything without him, he also never let me speak my mind. when I came out to him he thought I was doing it to get out of the 'relationship" reds eyes continued staring never blinking "when I broke up with him he never gave up on me, always trying to get with me again in some questionable ways... like what you saw today," i say with a  pained voice holding in my tears 

 Red's face was so angry it felt as tho she was about to explode "He's dead" she said simply, anger coursing through her words as she started toward the door "RED" I  grabbed her hand she looked back her eyes glazed over fury taking over her "red plz, he's more dangerous then he looks" she scoffed "ill show him dangerous" so much hatred in her voice. I sighed "Red, plz it's fine" She turned to look at me "Chloe... this guy could have killed you," she said worried "That's why you can't go, red plz," I said pleading with her She sighed "fine.. but if he comes near you-" "ok red," I say cutting her off "people can hurt me all they want I don't care. but I won't let anyone hurt you ever again" "Red... what do you mean by that" she looked at me her eyes no longer flashing but instead showing fierce love "It means I won't let you get hurt " 'but i don't want you hurting ether" she sighs a pained sigh "chlo... I've been hurt my whole life i can handle it trust me" I stare at her not able to read her expression"ok...red, I trust you" i state still worried "just don't do anything you'll regret" 

red cared so much that she risked her life for me. but what scared me the most was the way she looked at Max and his thug. like she was gonna kill them, and the lightning flashing through her eyes also scared me it was the same flashing I saw in my nightmare.... ' is this you... what do you have against red' I said to myself

 red and I walked to our dorm I went to my desk to start on my homework I saw red out of the corner of my eye debating whether to come over a quick flash of fear in her eyes I still couldn't believe I had hit her I knew it was her but I still reacted like that, even tho it was 'only' a nightmare. I was still so stressed about the whole situation "Red common you have to do our homework too" she stared at me quickly glancing at my hands and then back at me before she walked over as she came next to me she gave a gentle kiss on my head before murmuring in a gentle voice "hello beautiful" how could anyone ever hurt someone so caring.
