Chapter 20

I look into both of their eyes and see the unmistakable Sharingan glowing in Itachi and Shisui's gazes. It is the first time they stand before me, ready to unleash their full strength. "Are you ready, little sister?" Shisui asks, his voice calm but tinged with palpable tension.

Without a word, I activate my Sharingan. There is no hesitation—this fight leaves no room for holding back. "Anytime, big brother," I reply, determination in my voice. The moment the words leave my lips, Itachi has already begun forming the hand signs for Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu. I can instantly feel the heat rising in the air. Without thinking, I mirror his movements, my fingers moving swiftly as I shape my fire chakra. But just as I'm about to unleash my attack, Shisui appears in front of me in a flash, ready for a quick strike.

"I have to try something," flashes through my mind. I stop my jutsu but keep the chakra charged and active. I flip backward, avoiding Shisui's strike without losing control of the chakra. As I land, I complete the hand signs and unleash my fireball toward Itachi, merging it with his. Our techniques collide, and a massive fireball forms between us.

"It worked!" I think triumphantly. I maintained my chakra, and Shisui's confused expression tells me I caught him off guard.

But his surprise doesn't last long. Shisui is already moving again, his sword in hand, charging at me once more. I focus my Sharingan, clearly reading his movements. Even though I can see his attacks coming, it's hard to keep up with his speed. My defense holds, but I can't go on the offensive. His speed is overwhelming—each strike seems faster and harder than the last. "Shisui is incredibly fast," I think as I struggle to find an opening.

As I focus on Shisui, I suddenly feel a rush of wind behind me. Before I can react, a powerful kick from Itachi sends me flying, slamming me into the wall of the arena. The impact knocks the breath out of me, and for a moment, stars dance in my vision. "They're serious..." I realize. "I can't take this lightly."

Barely catching my breath, I see Itachi's shuriken flying toward me—too many to count. At the same time, Shisui charges again. There's no time for fancy moves. "Tenshōha!" I shout, forming the hand signs for Horse -> Ox -> Goat. A powerful shockwave of chakra erupts from my body, deflecting the shuriken and sending Shisui flying to the edge of the arena.

"I need to go on the offensive," I think, gathering my chakra. With a burst of energy, I activate Raiton: Denkō Sekka. In an instant, I'm in front of Shisui, landing a flurry of fast punches and kicks before he can fully recover. My speed catches him off guard—his eyes widen as he struggles to block my strikes. "My version of the Shunshin no Jutsu works," I think, though I know I can't use it often without injuring myself.

As I battle Shisui, Itachi reappears. "Fighting both of them at once..." I mutter to myself. I dodge their attacks by launching myself into the air. "I need to finish this quickly." Flipping through the air, I channel my lightning and fire chakra into my hand, forming a dense, crackling orb of combined fire and lightning chakra. "Catch this!" I shout, releasing the orb as I hurl it down toward them.

"It has to be faster." Quickly, I form the hand signs for Horse -> Ox -> Goat. Itachi and Shisui dodge with incredible speed, but before they can fully retreat, the orb explodes in a massive burst of fire and lightning. My Tenshōha protects me from the blast, but the sheer force still sends me flying upward to the arena's ceiling.

"Raiton-Katon: Kaminari no Hōka – Stage One: Rinku worked," I think, feeling the strain in my arm, a consequence of the powerful jutsu. "It was risky," I hear Kitsune's voice echo in my mind.

"Yes, but I can't ease up," I respond mentally, holding myself to the ceiling with chakra. "It went well."

I form the signs for Katon: Hōsenka Tsumabeni, launching a barrage of flaming shuriken from above at Itachi and Shisui. They deftly counter—Itachi with a fire jutsu and Shisui with his sword. But the distraction is enough. I spring from the ceiling and land between them.
