Rule Breakers- A Tayvis story

Ten

Taylor's POV 

I was so worried about meeting Travis' family but after i had met donna my nerves started to wash away, Travis and i entered the house and donna was leading us to what i assumed to be the living room where every body had gathered together. 

"Happy birthday Trav" Someone gets up and hugs Travis 

"Thanks Jason, everybody this is Taylor" He introduces 

"Yeah we know who she is" Jason comments laughing 

"Well still, Taylor this is Jason, Kylie, My dad Ed and Jason's kids- Wyatt, Ellie an d Bennett" Travis says pointing to everyone 

"It's nice to meet you all" I say after giving everyone a hug 

So far everyone is super lovely but i still can't help my fidgeting. My hands run up and down my dress 

"You look stunning" Travis leans down and whispers in my ear causing me to involuntary blush

"Thank you" i whisper to him and drop my hands from me dress 

"Okay Travis come here and open your gifts" Donna yells from the couch and i follow Travis over there sitting next to him 

Travis sits and opens all his gifts from his family thanking everyone as he did so and now i quickly get up to go get my present for him that is still in the car 

"I will be back" I let everyone know and begin to walk out of the room 

"Taylor" I hear Travis from behind me so i turn around 

"Where are you going?" He asks now standing up

"Oh just to get your present i will be back in a second" I start talking and then realize that why we are acting normal he still is my body guard and i can't go anywhere without him

"Oh yeah do you mind coming?" I ask now laughing 

"Yep let's go" Travis jumps up from the couch and moves quickly over to me and we quickly go the the car before returning back to his family all looking confused 

"They know you are my body guard right?" I ask 

"They know i am a body guard i didn't say who for though. Tree never said if i could or not" He explains and i sigh 

"Sorry everyone that must have seemed really odd, you all know that Travis works as a body guard but he forgot to tell you that it is for me so by the rules of his contract i literally can't let me go anywhere alone" I chuckle out and everybody nodded 

Travis takes a seat back on the couch and i hand him the box that contains his presents 

"Open it" 

Travis opens the box to reveal a small bag containing different necklaces and also a bigger box that holds an NFL football with heaps of signatures all over it. 

  "You mentioned that you really liked the NFL so i thought you might like it" I say softly as Travis looks up at me smiling 

"Thank you" He says getting up to hug me and i take an envelop out of my bag 

"There is also this" I try to hand to him but he doesn't take it 

"No Taylor i cant take anything else that was already to much" 

"Travis please " I beg and try to hand it to him again but he moves back fast

"Travis" I whine 

"Taylor put it back in your bag" He says and i shake my head following him as he starts to run. I eventually catch him and make him take it before i walk off, making my way back to the couch 

Travis starts walking fast behind me and i quickly look at Donna "Sorry" I quickly say and i see a confused look over her face before i start running around the house with Travis chasing me. 

After two laps of the house i start to question if i can actually do the tour im planning because i am already needing a drink of water, i make it back the living room and look around for Travis but i don't see him anywhere. Until i feel an arm quickly snake around my middle and i start laughing loudly 

"Gotcha" Travis laughs lifting me off the ground effortlessly with one arm 

"Put me down now" I say laughing and Travis instantly places me back down and spinning me to face him 

"Please accept it. I don't know how much longer i can pretend im not falling even more in love with you each time i look at you and so i don't know how long until Tree finds out, I don't know what she will do or say so i thought i could give you this incase the worst happens" I whisper to him and he nods 

Travis takes a step back and opens up the envelop and lifting the small piece of paper out before quickly putting it back and shaking his head at me. 

"I'm going to the bathroom, please accept it i know you will say that it's too much but it isn't" I let him know before walking off to find the bathroom 

Maybe giving Travis money wasn't the best idea but he had said so many times that he needed this job and i figured that was because it pays very well, i didn't know what Tree would do when she found out that i was falling in love with him but i knew it wouldn't be good and i couldn't live with myself if i was the reason he couldn't look after himself.
