Nine

Travis POV 

The next few days consisted of Taylor and i doing or normal routine but now and then we would share a hug or i would feel her squeeze my hand before she walked out of the room. 

My mum called this morning to invite me to her house tomorrow but i had to let her know that i wasn't able leave Taylor house and come to see her. 

"Travis i don't mean to listen to your calls but i did and i heard you say you couldn't leave here" Taylor walks into my room but stopping at the doorway 

"Yeah mum called me she wanted me to go see her tomorrow but i let her know i couldn't go because i was here" I explain 

"What, you can go Travis" Taylor says straight away and i shake my head. 

"You can i will be okay for a day without you" She tries to explain but i still shake my head 

"No Taylor it's okay we can celebrate my birthday later on it isn't a big deal" I explain and her jaw drops

"Your birthday is tomorrow, Travis why didn't you tell me" she yells and i go to talk but she cuts me off again 

"You have to go see your family on your birthday Travis" 

"No i don't i have to be here with you plus, spending my birthday with you doesn't sound too bad" I admit smiling 

"I could come with you." she smiles before quickly talking again 

"No that is a stupid idea sorry, please go have fun on your special day" 

"No Taylor you could come that's a good idea" I get out of bed and walk to her 

"Really?" she asks 

"Yep, and i can spend the day with you and my family and i get to make sure you are okay too" I ramble 

"Travis i don't have to come they might find it weird" She tries but i shake my head 

"No they wont. you aren't just my client i am also falling for you incredibly fast and i want my family to meet you" I let her know 

Instead of talking Taylor moved closer to me before quickly lifting herself up on her toes and places a quick kiss on my lips before pulling away 

"I'm sorry" She says 

I shake my head and move down to kiss her this time, neither of us pulling apart. It was magical and now quickly becoming my favourite thing.

"That was amazing" Taylor breathed out as they parted away from each other 

"It was, You know that can't happen in front of anyone though" I expressed and she nodded her head in agreeance

"So you will come?" I ask Taylor 

"Yep" 

"Perfect" I gently place my hands on either side of her face and lower my face to meet hers, once again i place my lips on hers and feel her body relax as i did so. 

Once i pull back for the second time i take out my phone from my back pocket and call my mum, holding Taylor's hand in my other 

"Hey Mumma, If you still want i can come home tomorrow for the day" I let her know and i see her face light up through the facetime call 

"Really?" She asks 

"Yeah, i am going to bring someone though" I let her know and she nods 

The next morning i wake up early to Taylor bring me breakfast in bed, she places the tray on my lap as i sit up with my back against the headboard 

"Good morning happy birthday" she says as she moves back 

"Thank you, you didn't have to do that" I explain but she shakes her head 

"Enjoy handsome, I have some things to do but come find when you are done" she then leaves and walks back down stairs.

The dynamic between me and Taylor weas different well obviously because we now always found each other reaching for a hand to hold or we would cuddle up together at the end of the day. But it was different because even though we aren't in a relationship i had never felt like this before, genuinely cared about but it was amazing and i never wanted it to stop.

i enjoyed my breakfast in silence as i responded to the messages that were filling up my phone screen. 

once i had finished my breakfast i made my way down the stairs with my tray in my hand ready to place in the kitchen and then i'm off to go find Taylor. 

Just as im ready to walk out of the kitchen to see where she is i turn around and see her standing behind me 

"Do you want your gift now or later?" she ask with a huge smile on her face 

"Taylor, you didn't have to get me anything" I explain 

"Well i did" 

"No i cant accept a gift, you coming with me to see my family is more than enough thank you" 

"No it isn't, here is your card and I'll give you your present later" she says as she hands me a card and runs off back to where ever she came from

Travis

Happy birthday handsome, i hope today is filled with nothing but love, celebrations and joy. I know that you and i didn't exactly start on the right foot and i'm sorry about that but there is nothing i would change because it led us to where we are now. 

Whilst i don't know what we are and i don't expect us to figure it out right now i am so glad and so thankful that you are apart of my life, thank you for the sweet comments that you always make and the way you make sure im okay all the time even when im in a mood 

I can't wait for more birthday's with you and i hope today is everything you could have hoped for

The hour and a half car ride to my mums house was filled with me reassuring Taylor that everything would be okay and every body would like her but i knew that she still didn't believe me. 

The car stops and i stare out the window revealing that we have now arrived, i move my hand to place on Taylor's knee 

"We are here beautiful" I let her know and she moves her head to look at me 

"Okay" she whispers 

I move my head and gently place a kiss on her forehead before moving to place on on her mouth "Everything will be okay" 

she nods her head and kisses me again "We can't do that inside" 

"I know beautiful, It's okay" 

I get out of the car before holding Taylor's door open for her and we walk up to the front door before i place a loud knock on it.  Seconds later the door is being swung open and my mum is standing in the door way smiling

"Happy birthday Travis" She beams, pulling me into a hug 

"Thank you Mumma, this is my friend Taylor" I pull away from our hung and move back so she can see Taylor 

"Oh wow, Hi darling I'm donna" 

"It's lovely to meet you Donna, Thank you for letting me come" Taylor says as we both make our way inside
