This one was requested by one of my loyal readers a while back. @RottmntRiley this one is for you. Enjoy!

Vision fades in and out, faint voices heard in the background.

"... get him ... med bay... now! "

Lights strobe by, but there's nothing to focus on.

"... you're... be fine... hang in.... love... "

The voices suddenly disappears and there's nothing else to focus on. An oxygen mask crosses the field of vision but nothing else registers. Darkness encroaches from the edges of his vision and then it all fades to black.

Price wakes up the sound of machines beeping. He can barely open his eyes to look around. A bandage is wrapped around his right arm and he can feel another on his head.

Voices filter in but it's all faint, distant.

Looking around the room, Price sees two people currently sleeping on a mini couch. The sight calms him and makes him smile.

The beeping of the heart moniter increases slightly, rousing the two people. Immediately, they are by his side.

"Price!" A hand quickly holds his while another completely different one caresses his cheek.

"I'm alright." He murmurs slightly, squeezing one hand and gently nuzzling into the one on his cheek.

"Good, cause Indy was ready to commit a few war crimes." Soap says, unable to not crack a joke now that Price is awake.

His comment earns him a scoff, though. "I was not about to commit a few war crimes." She grumbles. "... I was gonna commit all of them."

Price chuckles in response, light but there. "You'd have done all that for me, love?"

"That and more." She assures, pressing a kiss to his forehead.

"Aye, and I'd have been right there with the lass." Soap smiles, relieved that everything is gonna be ok. He gives Price's hand a squeeze to which Price's squeezes back in response.

"You two don't have to go that far." The Captain smiles even as he tries to argue, knowing that the two people next to him won't agree.

"Yes, yes I do." Indy responds as Soap nods in agreement. "I'm with the lass on this one, Price. No way was I gonna let some enemy team take our boyfriend."

That brings a grin the Price's face. "Oh, yeah? You'd miss me?" He teases Soap.

"Aye, I'd feckin' miss ye, ye devil." Soap grumbles in response, not exactly one to just say what he's feeling so plainly. "Ye two got me over here with a damn bleedin' heart."

"I'm fine, Indy. If I'm being discarched, it means I don't need to be treated like I'm dying. I'm not made of bloody glass." The Captain grumbles as he's forced to sit back in his bed.

After five days in the med bay, he was finally released and allowed to go to his room. Soap and Indy haven't left his side and they both make sure a certain someone doesn't try and do any paperwork.

"I don't wanna here it, Johnathan. You're staying put and resting. If I need to put you to sleep myself, then I will." She puts his pain meds on the nightstand along with a glass of water.
