THE NEXT MORNING, and Xóchitl (since Citlali was in surgery) was monitoring Zyanya to see if the antidote was actually working, and so far it seemed to have progress.

Zyanya was currently asleep, but was very lethargic.

Rebekah had finally returned to her daughter's side after two days being away from her, Hope wouldn't settle down at all while she was home.

They believed the infant had gotten an ear infection but when Citlali had gone home to shower and sleep, she had checked the baby over and found nothing wrong.

So, Rebekah was now back at the hospital worrying about her daughter and was busy watching her daughter sleep, analyzing each of Zyanya's tiny breaths as they made her chest rise and fall.

Rebekah then remembered the argument Xóchitl and Citlali had the day that piqued her interest, and what better way to get her mind off of her daughter than some juicy gossip.

"Why did Citlali say you were being a bitch yesterday?"

Xóchitl sighed out, Citlali was still mad at her, "Because I said something really stupid to her—"

The blonde cut her off, "Which was?"

"There's this guy down in the lab who's had this huge crush on me for the longest time," Xóchitl began, "Since we needed to delete Zyanya's results, she suggested I sleep with him if he got stubborn."

"She wanted you to prostitute yourself?"

Xóchitl shrugged, "I guess but not really? But I then told her that at least he didn't cheat on me with my brother."

Rebekah leaned forward, officially intrigued, "What do you mean by that?"

"Eztil went through a phase where he did anything to mess with Citlali. Even sleep with her fiancé."

Rebekah gasped, taken aback, not even her brothers would do that to her. Kill them, absolutely, but purposely do it to hurt her. Never.

   "What?" She gasped out.

Xóchitl nodded, "Yeah, it was bad."

"Wow, and I thought I had the worst brothers."

"I've heard some stories that involved your brothers," Xóchitl said, "They don't sound much better."

Xóchitl was right; she supposed her brothers (Klaus) weren't much better.

Her phone ringing got her attention; she looked at the screen and saw Valentina's name. She quickly answered before bringing her phone up to her right ear, "Hello."

"Hey, is Xóchitl with you? I've been calling but she doesn't answer." Valentina asked.

Rebekah looked over to the brunette who was rocking back and forth in a rocking chair while playing Subway Surfers, "I have, she's... occupied at the moment."

"With what? I called Citlali before she went into surgery and said Xóchitl doesn't have a surgery till way later."

"She's playing a mobile game." Rebekah said, "I'll hand her over."

   "Okay."

Rebekah lowered the phone, "Xóchitl." The surgeon in training was too focused on her game to look away, "Valentina is on the phone asking for you."

   "Can't, I'm busy." Xóchitl muttered.

Rebekah rolled her eyes, "She said she's busy."

   "Just give her the phone."
