Reach the Hand of...

No one's POV

In a vast, sunlit room where natural light bathed the space in a golden glow, the elder Ybañez sat at her desk, fully absorbed in her device.

She was busy mapping out the details of an event still far into the future, meticulously selecting wedding dresses, suits, rings, and finalizing the choice for the ring bearer.

"Ring bearer – Raven Samira Baek Ybañez," she whispered under her breath with a wide smile as she typed her daughter's name.

But a sudden flicker of doubt made her pause. Jezreel’s gaze lingered on the screen, staring at her daughter’s name.

She hesitated, her mind drifting before making a subtle change.

"Ring bearer – Raven Samira Ybañez Baek… Perfect." The smile on her face grew even wider, satisfaction settling in as she saw her wife’s surname attached to their child.

It delighted her, even though Samantha carried her own surname, Ybañez.

A voice laced with sarcasm broke her thoughts.

"What’s with the big smile? You’ve found another woman, haven’t you? Or have you picked one already from that list of women I saw?" Samantha’s sharp and teasing tone immediately halted Jezreel's focus.

Jezreel sighed, setting aside her laptop, rising from her seat.

She turned, and in that moment, the world around her seemed to slow as she took in the sight of her wife.

Samantha stood in a stunning black sundress, a floppy hat casually resting on her head.

Jezreel’s jaw fell open, her heart raced, and she flushed as if seeing her for the first time.

"What?" Samantha asked, raising an eyebrow, her voice laced with playful exasperation.

Jezreel, still in a daze, approached her without a word.

When she stood directly in front of her wife, Jezreel theatrically covered her mouth with her hand, her gaze shamelessly drifting downwards from Samantha’s face to her body, settling somewhere below her chest.

Catching the shift in Jezreel's eyes, Samantha quickly tilted her chin up so their eyes would meet again.

"My eyes are up here, not down there," Samantha remarked pointedly, referencing the visible cleavage in her dress.

Jezreel grinned mischievously, holding her wife’s hands.

"My wife is jaw-droppingly gorgeous… You never fail to leave me breathless. It’s completely unfair." she declared with utter seriousness, making Samantha blush despite trying to keep her composure.

"Why don't you just admit you want a kiss already? Spare me the compliments." Samantha retorted, suddenly shifting the dynamic with her no-nonsense response.

"So… can I kiss you?" Jezreel asked, her voice soft, eager, like a child waiting for a treat. She bit her lower lip, her eyes locked on Samantha's lips, yearning for the moment.
