This trip was not in the back of a carriage and Camryn didn't have to stay invisible. She didn't have to hide whenever someone came near. Camryn could ride atop a horse with Ransom behind her.

A cool breeze drifted through her hair convincing a few strands to come loose from the braid. The sun had brightened the day and warmed the earth. All the clouds had faded away as the day dragged on. The only sounds were the slacking of the horses and carriage that Queen Ebony and Whitney were stuck in. But Camryn was free. The guards kept glancing over at them out of the corner of their eyes but said nothing to them. They were still not sure if they trusted Camryn and Ransom but they trusted their king and queen. Even with the tension of the guards, it was still a relaxing ride.

Ransom leaned his chin on her shoulder and hugged her tight around her middle. "I never want to forget about moments like this."

Camryn craned her neck to look up at him. "Me neither." Even though Camryn was tired from the day's events she still had this panicky feeling hanging over her head. She had to tell them about what she overheard. This was more than about her and Ransom. Now it involves all the royal families and all their friends. Whatever that woman and the Evil Queen and most likely The Enchantress had planned could change everything. A full-out war would break out between the sides. They were already headed that way. Whatever they had planned might just be what pushed everyone over the edge.

"Camryn you okay? You have that look when you're fighting with yourself." Ransom waved a hand in front of her face.

"What? Oh ya." Camryn shook her head. "I just have something really bad I need to tell you later. And Whitney but not here." She looked around expecting someone to jump out and bury a dagger in her heart.

Ransom took her hand. "If you're sure you won't tell me I won't ask again but you look very... uh... what's the word... jumpy."

Camryn nodded and scooted closer to him. "I am."

Whitney jumped out of the carriage and stretched in the bright sun. It felt good to be out of there and walking around. Camryn rushed toward her with a ghastly expression plastered across her face. Something was wrong.

"Whitney is it just me or does Camryn look a little pale?" the queen asked.

Whitney smiled. "She just looked a little tired." She saw her mother's look. The one that came across her face whenever she found a lost puppy.

"Can I take them to their rooms? I'm guessing they're going to be in their old guest rooms?"

Queen Ebony nodded beaming brightly as Whitney skipped over to her friend. A small cloud of dust blew around her feet as she skipped toward Camryn. "What's wrong," she asked once she was close enough. Camryn shivered as she thought about what she heard. This was so bad how could she even tell her?

Taking a deep breath she started, "Whitney I need to tell you something. You and Ransom." She tilted her head in Ransom's direction. "Alone without anyone being able to overhear. It's really bad." There she said it.

To Camryn's surprise, Whitney nodded without asking a single question. "After I show you two to your rooms we can talk about what's bothering you." She didn't get it. Whitney does not get how big this is. The fate of the world was on her shoulders but all Camryn said was, "Great." She knew how to fake a smile.

Whitney took Camryn and Ransom back to their old rooms. Camryn looked at Whitney confused. "But I thought that these were guest rooms?"

"They used to be but now they're yours."

She smiled and waved her arms around her. "My room is rather close and so is most everything else." Whitney opened the door to Camryn's room and walked in. "Come on," she said to them. Ransom nodded to Camryn and then closed the door behind him. The room was almost exactly how Camryn left it. It was like someone had frozen it in time. The bed was still made with the same sheets. The fireplace was still a mess from when she got the crown. The curtains were still pulled back and the rope was lying on the floor.
