[Melo's POV]
Sunday Morning
I woke up to the sound of gospel music drifting from the living room. Mom was already up, getting ready for church. I stretched, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep.
"Morning, sweetie!" Mom called out.
"Morning, Ma!" I replied, swinging my legs over the side of the bed.
I got dressed in a cream Next Vacation Skirt Set, paired with neutral heels. My boho braids were let loose .
Downstairs, Mom helped Ayanda and Ayize into their matching black tight leggings, white cropped t-shirts and black long puffer jacket, and complete with gold necklaces designed with their names and sunglasses.
Baba walked into the room, sipping his coffee.
"Morning, everyone. Sorry, I won't be able to make it to church today. I have a meeting at work."
I nodded understandingly.
"It's okay, Baba."
Mom handed him a packed lunch.
"Be careful, and we'll see you later."
Amanhle and Liyanda arrived, looking stylish in their Sunday best. Amanhle wore a white Koryn skirt set and black boots like the baddie she is, while Liyanda opted for a bold black jean dress and black heels.
