Billie and Elsie are spending the evening together in Billie's home studio. Billie has been working on a few songs, and Elsie, as usual, sits nearby, enjoying the process of watching her girlfriend create magic. The room is dimly lit, cozy, with soft light bouncing off Billie's guitars and recording equipment. There's a quiet intimacy in the air as Billie strums her guitar, absentmindedly humming a melody while Elsie flips through her notebook, occasionally jotting down thoughts for her next article.

Elsie glances over at Billie, her pen pausing. "You know, I never imagined I'd end up dating a musician," she says with a playful smile. "Our worlds are so different, but somehow... it works."

Billie looks up, her lips curling into a grin. "Yeah, it's kind of wild, right? A journalist and a musician—it sounds like a setup for a bad rom-com." She chuckles, but her eyes soften as she gazes at Elsie.

"I wouldn't say bad," Elsie teases, "more like... an unexpected hit." She leans forward in her chair, resting her chin in her hand, watching Billie strum a few more chords. "What's that you're playing? Something new?"

Billie hesitates, her fingers stopping on the strings. "Actually, it is new. But it's not for the album. It's... well, it's for you."

"For me?" Elsie's heart skips a beat. "What do you mean?"

Billie puts her guitar down gently and reaches for something sitting on the desk beside her. It's a small, leather-bound journal—something Elsie immediately recognizes as her own. She had left it in the studio a few weeks ago, and Billie had been teasing her about peeking into it, though she always claimed she wouldn't.

"What are you doing with my journal?" Elsie laughs, raising an eyebrow.

Billie holds up the journal with a smirk. "Don't worry, I didn't actually read it... much," she teases. "But I thought it might be fitting for what I'm about to do."
