"Did not see that coming," Pietro muttered under his breath before getting up and looking up at Jules. He raised an eyebrow at the newfound power. Her hair was slightly floating and small golden cracks were on the sides of her face. "That's new," He pointed, Jules hummed in response before letting her hand touch the new golden cracks on her skin, making Jules's eyebrows shoot up in surprise.

"Huh, guess it is..." Jules spoke before sighing and walking to sit up on one of the benches in the training room they were in. Letting her head lean on her palm as her hair fell over her shoulders and onto her back while the golden cracks on her face slowly faded. A few seconds later, Pietro sat next to her.

"What's up?" Pietro asked, Jules glanced at him.

"Not much, you?" Jules responded before Pietro nudged her, jokingly.

"You know what I mean," Jules hummed in response. "Is this about the UA acceptance letter?" She nodded at Pietro's words. "Have you not decided on what you want to do?" Jules shook her head.

"I don't know if I should go, I mean I'd basically be leaving New York and... I don't know, I don't wanna leave my dad, I..." Jules let out a breath, annoyed and Pietro understood. Pietro knew this was a difficult decision for her, the idea of leaving hit hard. Jules had never actually been to school before. She's been homeschooled her whole life. The idea of going to one now, made her really nervous. "What would you do?" She asked, looking down at her hands.

"To be the best of the best," Pietro spoke, "I'd want to be trained better than I am, become better," Jules nodded, in a way, he was right. Jules had to go UA. Maybe they could help her out with her quirk or whatever it was. Loads of pro-heroes had graduated out of there. It's her best choice.

She's gonna go.

"Are you sure about this?" The Phoenix's voice, similar to her own, echoed in her mind. Jules gave herself a discreet nod. "Very well, but remember this-" Jules's eyes flickered orange. "-this will alter the course of your life." She pursed her lips. Not knowing what the Phoenix meant.

Pepper and Tony exchanged hushed whispers, who sat opposite them. Pepper remained seated in her office chair, while Tony stood beside her. Across from them, Jules fidgeted with her fingers, her eyes downcast. Tony took the news well, he was happy for her of course, but he forgot about the part where she'd have to live halfway across the world from him and immediately didn't approve. But he couldn't argue, Jules had her mind set on this. And if either Pepper or Tony knew about anything, she was going to do it. No matter how stubborn she'd act. She will go. There's no stopping her. She had Tony's genes.
