𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙖 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙠, daughter of the legendary 𝙏𝙤𝙣𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙠, has always been surrounded by greatness. Raised within the powerful and vibrant world of the Avengers, Jules was taught to harness...
"You're from the States, right?" Kirishima asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "What's it like there?"
Jules smiled warmly. "It's a bit different, but honestly, I'm just glad to be here. You guys are so welcoming."
As they talked, more and more students began to notice her, intrigued by the foreign student with a confident smile and easygoing attitude. Her charisma was natural, drawing others closer without much effort. Jules could feel the weight of their attention but kept her cool, used to being in the spotlight thanks to her upbringing.
However, one pair of eyes watching her wasn't filled with the same friendly curiosity.
Shoto Todoroki sat in his seat, quietly observing the growing crowd around Jules. He didn't like how everyone seemed drawn to her like moths to a flame. He remembered seeing her briefly at the hero conference party a while back. They hadn't spoken, but they had made eye contact for a fleeting moment. He didn't know who she was back then—just another face in the crowd. But now here she was, sitting comfortably among his future classmates, receiving attention as if she were some sort of celebrity.
Where was she during the entrance exam? Shoto wondered, narrowing his eyes slightly. He hadn't seen her during the recommendations either. It bothered him, even though he didn't want to admit it. People who skipped the standard process usually had some sort of special treatment. What's her deal?
Jules, sensing someone's gaze on her, glanced up and locked eyes with Shoto. It was the same calm yet piercing look they'd exchanged back at the party, but this time, she could see something else in his expression—annoyance, maybe even a hint of jealousy. She tilted her head slightly in curiosity but decided not to dwell on it. There were enough people around her to keep her attention.
"Hey, you okay?" Sero asked, noticing her brief distraction.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she replied, giving him a reassuring smile. "Just lost in thought for a second."
