Not so much but her dad really went in all out. Sitting on one of the benches she pulled on her yellow boots which stopped just above her knees.

The material clung comfortably to her form, allowing a full range of motion. Her suit, a sleek green and yellow ensemble, hugged her frame perfectly. The design was both practical and elegant, with a yellow "X" pattern across her chest, vibrant yellow boots that added a pop of color against the deep green. There was a futuristic flair to the whole look, and yet it held a classic superhero vibe. The yellow belt was tightly wrapped around her hip with a bit of extra material flowing down onto the side.

When she stepped out of the changing room, she could feel the eyes of her classmates immediately drawn to her. Her suit wasn't something they had seen before, it was normal for her to get stares. However, one gaze was colder than the rest. Todoroki, standing near the front of the class, watched her with narrowed eyes. Jules met his stare briefly, a silent tension passing between them.

"Hey Kuroyama!" Jules turned to Ururaka who was waving at her to come over, "Over here," Jules smiled as she approached them,

"Hey," Jules greeted them, "I'm digging your hero costume,"

"Thanks, I like yours too! It suits you really well. Brings out your eyes," Ururaka complimented, Jules nodded at her words.

"Thank you, my dad helped me out, and when I say that I mean almost every bit of this suit was designed by him," Jules sighed mockingly, as Ururaka laughed at her words.

However before the two could continue to speak, All Might had called the class's attention. He explained that the students would be doing a hero vs villain training exercise.

Seemed simple enough.

The Phoenix within her stirred slightly. Jules could feel its attention as if watching through her eyes. It often did this during tense moments, ready to make its presence known. She had learned to push it back, to keep it hidden, but the temptation was always there, whispering to let it take control.

As teams were decided, Jules was paired with Ojiro and Hagakure as the villains, while Todoroki and Shoji took on the hero roles. Todoroki stood with his usual cold composure, his dual-coloured eyes unreadable, but there was a flicker of curiosity when he glanced at Jules. The tension from their argument the day before still hung between them. She knew he was underestimating her, and while it irked her, she remained calm. Proving herself to him wasn't her concern—she knew what she was capable of.
