(Cyrus's POV)

"Si after Cody and you took off Kyla and I were ambushed." Josh explained as we took a seat in their tent. Josh bunked with Colton and Basil although both of them were out doing something else. Currently though Julie, Ashton, Mady and Kyla were also in this tent taking a seat on Basil and Colton's bed while I sat next to Josh on his. After walking into the tent I was greeted by Kyla who although had a couple cuts and scrapes she looked much better off then Josh.

"I barely had tiempo to react before suddenly a cloth was over my mouth." Josh said miming it. "When I woke up again though I was in the operating room and I couldn't see Kyla." He said going quieter as he said that. "I thought I was alone but when I looked over I saw... Slasher." Josh said sighing as he trailed over one of his cuts.

"He's one of the sick minds that help run this place. He liked to test our pain tolerance." Ashton said explaining it too me. I was glad I never met this guy judging by the others faces at the mention of him.

"What happened next?" I asked carefully but for once Josh was silent as he looked away. Ashton surprisingly walked over and put an arm around him whispering something in his ear. I wasn't used to seeing the usually sarcastic and hard to talk with female showing any sort of affection to anyone besides Mady so this change was a shock to say the least. Of course the more I thought about it the more I realized that this was the true Ashton who always makes sure that those around here are happy.

"They tortured me." He said no hint of humour in his voice. I was still as I stared at him but he refused to look at me as he looked down nervously biting his lip. My mouth opened and closed but I couldn't bring myself to say anything so instead we were left in an awkward silence. It was then that I noticed our missing member.

"Where's Cody?" I asked looking around. Colton scoffed in disinterest but Kyla answered just not with what I expected.

"He leaves always. Do not worry he's probably moping somewhere." She said waving her hand around for emphasis. I nodded at her words although I had the urge to go look for her thankfully my thoughts were interrupted though by alarms suddenly going off.

Ashton immediately shot to her feet and started to drag Mady outside as we heard people calling the alarm. "Cyrus help us grab the supplies and load them in the vehicles. You've seen them right?" Colton asked averting his icy blue eyes on me. His gaze made me nervous but I did see the vehicles so I nodded in response. Colton happy with my answer turned and started to grab some of the supplies stuffing them in bags and boxes that lay under their beds. Using my heightened speed I blurred around the room shoving clothes, weapons, food or anything I can find into the bags. What took three minutes to me would have taken Kyla, Josh, Julie and Colton 6x more minutes. The others didn't hesitate to start to carry them out to the vehicles but Julie smiled at me, "Glad to have you back." She smiled before she grabbed a bunch of supplies and started to race out.

I grabbed some more bags and followed her out as I threw them in the back of a truck. I whirled around quickly to get another load when I smashed right into Cody causing me to tumble on top of him as we fell over. "Eek!" I yelped as he let out an Oof sound. We landed in a heap and I looked down in bewilderment at the Ebony haired boy. He had a look of surprise before it twisted into annoyance.

"Get off me!" He growled pushing against me. I quickly moved to get off freeing him from underneath me as my face brightened into a shade that almost matched my hair.

"Sorry I didn't see you." I said sheepishly. He glared at me as I helped him to his feet but I smirked when I spotted the pinkish tinge to his skin. I locked eyes with him and we stared at each other in an awkward silence that is until we were interrupted.
