I turned towards the sound of the doctors voice and quickly unsheathed my weapon focusing my attention on the man. I spotted Tatem who had his yellow eyes on me. They looked pained though and when I looked closer I could spot a large gash down his side that was staining his black fur in sticky scarlet fluid. They must have known I would come for him, I realized turning my attention back to the doctor who was smirking.

"7. 6. Working together I see?" He said a sadistic smirk on his face. Tatem bared his teeth as the doctor spoke and I spotted the glint of his unsheathed claws.

"It's two or erm three against one! Surrender and let us leave." Cyrus yelled. He was unarmed yet his blue eyes seemed to be sparking dangerously as he glared at the man. I directed my attention back to the man whos gaze was on Cyrus.

"Oh I'm not outnumbered. Fuego oscuro, attack!" He barked. It was still for a minute before a person dressed in a black collared outfit jumped out. He held a blackened dagger and his eyes were covered by a domino mask. His dark brown hair was messy and looked unbrushed and he had a scar on his mouth.

I noticed all that in the time that it took him to race forward and punch me square in the jaw. I fell onto my hands in knees my jaw stung as I struggled to my feet. When I looked up he seemed to be fighting Cyrus who was dodging his blows faster than the eye could follow.

I got to my feet after grabbing my sword and raced towards the guy. I swung at him and he dodged before sending his blade towards me. I just managed to dodge and deflect it with my own sword. I looked at him this time managing to see his eyes. They were red but vaguely familiar.

I let out a gasp as I recognized him putting my guard down. He didn't waste any time and his sword cut into my chest. I collapsed onto the ground reaching onto my chest that had a deep wound on the chest. "Cody!" I heard Cyrus yell. I heard a snarl as Tatem attacked the doctor. The doctor let out a cry of suprise before he pressed a button on a device. Immediately Tatems collar erupted into a burst of electricity. Tatem let out a howl of pain and let go of him stepping almost into Cyrus who was fighting the masked man.

"We have to get out of here!" Cyrus called suddenly his hand grabbing me and pulling me to my feet. He snapped me out of my daze as my mind sharpened.

"Right." I managed to say. I ran with Cyrus towards the door but it was locked and when I tried the code that got us in before it was denied. I was distracted and was unable to stop the hit that collidied with my stomach as I doubled over. The masked man was above me again and was about to stab me when Cyrus tackled him away from me.

Even though I felt sick I managed to get to my feet fighting the vertigo as I rushed to help Cyrus. "I got an idea," He said as he dodged the sharpened blade that was being swung at him.

"What is it?" I asked as I looked for my sword. It was in the middle of the room and I quickly raced forward to grab it but the masked man stopped me kicking me back. Great now we're both disarmed. I thought gloomily.

"The doc if we take him out we can win this fight." Cyrus said managing to get a punch in on the other guy. It barely affected the other as he continued to attack without a pause in his fighting.

I listened to Cyrus's words and focused my body urging the black energy to appear. Suddenly it shot out of my hands knocking the hooded guy over. Cyrus jumped out of the way and nodded at me before lunging at the doctor.

He knocked him down by tripping him and grabbed the remote pressing a button. Tatems collar unhinged and fell off and he immediately turned and attacked the Doc knocking him down and pinning him letting out a snarl.

I looked back at the hooded man but he just stood there frozen. "Joseph?" I asked walking up to him. I pulled off his hood revealing the dark brown curly hair that I remembered but his eyes were different. They looked up at me but with no emotion and they black.

But I knew it was him. I had found Joseph.
