*Authors note: Hey guess what I am writing this book for the NaNoWriMo thingy. I uploaded it into Fantasy so if anyone else is on there tell me I'd totally be your buddy on there. Also because of that I need to update way more often so my quality may go down but don't worry in December I'll edit or rewrite it. Also there Elements are added to the Subjects.

(Cody's POV)

I can't believe I was going to kill Alexis. I thought as we all sat in a corner of the bubble Basil told us the plan and now all we had to do was wait. I sat a bit away from the others and my brother was sitting next to the two girls Ash and Mady but he was mostly talking to Mady. That kid Basil was just standing there and staring into the hole in which his brother disappeared into a couple hours ago it was strange because it seemed that it was healing itself because by now it was almost gone.

The other kid Josh was sitting with Alexis and Julie and they seemed to be discussing something while that other girl I think her name was Kyla just like me was sitting away from the others. I wonder what happened to Cyrus? I wondered out loud remembering why we were done here in the first place.

"I wonder what happened to your friend?" Someone said from beside me surprising me for a second before I recovered turning to look at the speaker. I identified him as the kid Colton who I met earlier but he never really said much while we discussed the plan and I never really paid attention to him before anyway.

"Yeah what do you think they did with him?" I asked him as he sat down next to me. He shrugged his light blue eyes watching the others in the room. "I don't know but I wonder what his element is?" He stated I remembered Alexis telling us about the elements but I never really paid attention.

"Yeah..." I answered slowly this whole element and having abilities still really new to me.

"So your Element is Darkness that's funny." He stated causing me too turn towards him.

"Why is it funny?" I asked him sending a glare his way.

He just let out a small chuckle at that and right then I knew that I didn't like him. "It just is you fit yours so well that it would be a shock if you weren't."

I turned away from him then and got up walking towards Basil who was still looking in the spot where the hole was now completely gone. I stopped next to him and watched the wall with him I'm not a very friendly person but I had an idea of what he was going through with sending his brother through there. "He'll be fine." I told him causing him to flinch in surprise he must not have seen me show up.

He nodded, "Yeah I know he's tough but I worry about him you know?" He stated turning his head to look at me I looked away and back at the wall.

"Of course it's part of being an older brother." I answered back truthfully thinking of my own brother I started to interlock my hands together which is a nervous habit of mine.

Basil nodded at that and smiled before standing up and looking around the room before sighing, "I shouldn't have let him go." He finally said with a defeated tone in his voice. I shook my head at that and sent a real smile towards him, "That kid would have went if you told him to or not." I told him causing him to chuckle.

"Yeah that's Jared for you." He answered sending me a grateful smile, "We better go talk to the others they probably will be coming for us soon." I nodded in agreement and we headed towards Alexis and Josh who were now joined by the rest of them.

"We all know the plan?" Alexis asked causing us to nod in agreement. Satisfied she shifted her attention to Basil who looked a little hesitant, "You can do it you just need to focus your power." She told him.

"I've never really done it before though." He answered. "I'm still pretty new to this element thing."

She nodded, "Your element is wind which is the element of Love if you focus on the love you feel for others you can do it." Alexis told him and he acknowledged her words but he still looked worried. Suddenly the gas started to fill the room coming from tiny vents beginning to cloak the edges of the room.

Almost in sync Alexis and I yelled out, "Now Basil!" He quickly acted lifting his hands into the air his eyes turning a neon green colour and his suits trim starting to glow. "I got it." He told us through his clenched teeth beads of sweat running down his face.

I looked towards the others and we were watching him in apprehension before the next part in the plan was too begin. Josh started it and he pretended to collapse like the gas took him his blade tucked neatly on his stomach. The others started to fall as well and I joined them laying flat on the ground and closing my eyes listening to the breathing of the others near me. I wonder if this is what Tobias feels like all the time always waiting for something he could never see.

I heard the door clink open and the clanking of armoured soldiers entering the room about twenty were in the room and the lights got turned on causing my eyes to brighten a bit. "Are they out?" I heard one soldier ask getting a grunt from another, "Of course they are we gassed the room just grab them and take them to there rooms." He ordered I heard the soldier from earlier walk towards me with what sounded like another flanking them.

5.. I started to count down in my head.

4.... The soldiers stopped next to me putting there guns down for second.

3.... One of the soldiers grabbed my arms and started to lift me up.

2... The other soldier reached forward and went to grab my weapon from me.

1! I quickly ripped my arm out of soldier number one and grabbed my sword stabbing soldier number two quickly before turning it around and jabbing it behind me successfully hitting the other. I landed quickly on the ground as a couple of the soldiers started to yell out I smiled and lifted up my hands as they started glowing with black energy before I blasted the room engulfing it in darkness.

I heard the sounds of a scuffle and a couple gun shots going off before everything was silent except for some rapid breathing from us. "Good job Basil, Cody. The easy part is over and now its time for the hard part." Alexis noted as I sheathed my sword.

'Bring it on!' I thought smiling to myself.
