Jon woke before the sun with selma snuggled into his side. The tent provided little shelter. But her body pressed against his brought him so much warmth inside and out.

"We will get him back." Jon whispered kissing her head.

Selma both wanted to be there to support jon and didnt want to be anywhere near the battle.

She fixed her dress requesting jon help with the laces. He chuckled kissing along her shoulder.

"Maybe one of these days when we get winterfell back I will have you taking off this dress." Selma whispered as he continued to place open mouthed kisses on her flesh teeth digging gently into skin as he moved up her neck.

"I would like that." Jon confirmed. She turned to face him.

"I believe in you Jon." Selma told him touching his cheek and running her fingers through his black hair. "Kick ass today."

"Do you like games, little man? Let's play a game. Run to your brother. The sooner you make it to him, the sooner you get to see him. That's it. That's the game. Easy. Ready? Go." Ramsay nudged Rickon forward.  Rickon walked a few steps confused. "No, you have to run, remember? Those are the rules." Ramsay reminded. A solider handed ramsay his bow and rickon started to run. Jon jumped onto his horse taking off at top speed. Ramsay shoot at random it seemed.  Another arrow flying Jon ran faster, extending his hand to Rickon, Rickon looked like a young man, he reached out for Jon hope in his eyes.

Selma held her breath as she watched, tears in her eyes as they disappeared behind the horse, she heard a little scream of pain before the men charged forward. She found herself on a horse, she didnt know why she wasnt a fighter but Jon and Rickon hadnt gotten up yet and she needed to see her baby brother.

"Selma." Jon breathed back.

"Oh Rickon," selma whimpered as he rasped for breath as Selma looked at the arrow in his shoulder.

"It hurts." Rickon whimpered. Fury and determination in jons eyes.

"Get him back." Jon begged. "Get him help." Selma nodded. Hiding them behind the horse, Jon jumped up on his own and charged with his men towards the bolton army. Rickons face was filled with tears as Selma tried to keep the blood from flowing.

"I need a maester!" Selma sobbed out laying Rickon down. "Get him out of here, now!"

Selma didnt see Ramsay retreat didnt see Jon's fury as he charged on winterfell, she was focused on Rickon, his blood still stained her hands.

" Their army's gone." Ramsay noted

" Our army's gone."

" We have Winterfell. They don't have the men for a siege. All we have to do is wait." Ramsay countered but the wildlings were not done fighting yet.

"Rickon, Rickon, hold on." Selma begged.

The wolves licked at his bloody hands. Trying to offer comfort. Rickon looked pale his eyes drifting open and closed. Her baby brother looked like a young man.

"Fight rickon. Come on. Hold on sweetie..." selma whimpered tears blurring her vision.

" You suggested one on one combat, didn't you?" Ramsay reminded Jon as he got closer. "I think I've reconsidered. I think that sounds like a wonderful idea."

"I gave him something for the pain. He lost a bit of blood but i think given time he will recover."

"Oh thank the gods!" Selma declared squeezing rickons hand. "You hear that honey, you are going to be fine." She assured kissing his forehead. "Jon got you just in time."

"If that arrow was a few inches to the left it would have been-"

"But it wasnt." Selma cut him off. "So hes going to be fine."

" Ah. Sansa. Hello, Sansa. Is this where I'll be staying now? No. Our time together is about to come to an end. That's all right. You can't kill me. I'm part of you now." Ramsay assured looking up from the kennel.

" Your words will disappear. Your house will disappear. Your name will disappear. All memory of you will disappear." Sansa corrected the dogs growled in their cells and begin filtering out into the kennel.

" My hounds will never harm me." Ramsay corrected

" You haven't fed them in seven days. You said it yourself."

" They're loyal beasts." He didn't sound so sure

" They were. Now they're starving."
