Daenerys putting her hands on Jon was something Selma took a very strong objection to, as evidence by her nails digging into her palms every time Daenerys even dared look Jon's way.

Now they were fighting in a war together while she was stuck with the rest of the useless people. Because she was useless in a fight. It wasnt her fault her mother said women werent allowed to fight and she didnt possess the coordination to swing a sword or fire an arrow.

Selma wasn't nervous. So perhaps the nausea and stomach twists were merely a result of the dragon dipping and diving through the sky, with Jon on his back. Her Jon... on a dragon, in the middle of a war against a dead- undead army. Her stomach clenched as the dragon occasionally opened his mouth to set the opposing army aflame

"Here we are, waiting to die." Tyrion said, Selma glared back at him. "Are you mad that your man is fighting with the queen?"

"Daenerys? No... i will be mad if she puts her hands on him when she is supposed to be dying out there." Selma grumbled. "I mean killing dead things."

"We are all going to die." RIckon declared.

"We are useless down here." Sansa agreed.

"And thats why we are here." Tyrion agreed. "Because we are useless." Selma rolled her eyes as Sansa and Tyrion bitched and complained, woe is me.

"Shut the fuck up." Selma demanded.  "I did not ask for the dumb opinion that came out of your ass. Shut the fuck up. "

"Selma!" Sansa shrieked.

"You two are perfect together." Selma decided. "Scaring everyone with your misery and opposite of optimism."

"Pessimism." Varys offered.

"Yes, thank you. Pessimism." Selma agreed. "So shut up!" they silenced for a moment before the dead started to rise and selma screamed as something cold and withered grabbed her arm.

"Seems poetic". Jaime remarked with a shrug as he pulled the blade free of daenerys back. "Dying like daddy did". She turned on him fire in her eyes.

"You missed". She corrected turning her dragon on him. Jaime burned. Now it was time to burn kings landing. She made that very clear.

Trusting Lannisters was foolish beyond belief, he tried to kill Daenerys but Jon had promised. Daenerys threatened to burn Winterfell to the ground too if he didnt help her. She helped him, it was time.

"I always thought myself an honorable man but-"

"you dont have to help, you go with and..."

"What?" Jon asked touching selma's cheek.

"End it."

"I'm coming with." Rickon spoke up. "Dont you dare leave me with sansa again, that was hell!"

"I dont want either of you coming if I do this." Jon countered.

"To late you are not going alone, she threatened our home." Selma corrected. "She threatened all of us, you want her to rule?"

"You ...are a strong, sharp, fiery young woman, Selma." Jon told her. "But also remember to be kind. Expect people to be good. Forgive them when they're not."

"You are not leaving without me. You going alone is a suicide mission, she will kill you too." Selma corrected. "I'm coming."

"Me to!" Rickon agreed.

"Of course not but... selma... fine." Jon agreed, Selma squealed with delight. "But I need you to promise me you'll be on your best behavior." Selma looked to Rickon who was laughing.

"Selma? Yeah right."

"Rickon is right. Bedsides, I promised other people I would be on my worst behavior... I can't go back on my word, Jon."

looking back, it felt more like a lucid dream than a memory. something ethereal, unearthly. just out of touch of what could have been and what was. Selma didn't want to be here, after everything that happened at Winterfell, she wanted to be free with Jon but the battle wasn't over just yet. She knew what they had to do, what Jon wouldnt be able to do. Not alone. He had a good moral compass, Selma had a- I don't like how Daenerys looks at you vendetta stuck in her head.
