"Get ready, get ready!" Sansa was just as much a doofus as Catelyn when it came to preparing for the royal family.

Selma yawned out leaning into her father.

"Daddy make them stop." She begged. "Sansa woke me up at the brink of dawn and made me get ready with her."

"You look beautiful." Ned confirmed.

"I look tired." Selma corrected. "No need to lie. I look tired and Sansa and Mother are going to pop a vein if they keep this up. What are they worried about?"

"They want to make a good impression." Ned answered.

"Why? The king is your friend." Selma countered.

"Dont you like to make a good impression in front of your friends?"

"My friends are the same as sansa and I dont really like them." Selma countered. Ned knew that his little Selma wasnt like her twin at all. She did her lessons and stitches but she was too sweet for this world. She was kind and filled with laughter and she loved her bastard brother Jon more than anything.

"Why dont you go on and play with your pup." Ned suggested selma was quick to call her wolf to her side.

"Thanks daddy." She kissed his cheek quickly before running off. She pulled jon with her of course. He laughed smiling down at their connected hands.

"Im free for a bit." She told him. "Can we do something?"

"I would like that." Jon agred.

"Why do you think the royal family is coming?" Selma questioned as they walked down by the little waterfall. The wolves ran ahead jumping in the water.

"I can think of one reason but you wont like it." Jon admitted kneeling in the snow to fix his shoes

"What?" Selma questioned

"to ask lord stark to be hand." Jon answered.

"Why wouldnt i like that? Its an honorable position." Selma countered brushing snow from his hair as he rose up.

"That would mean lord stark is leaving."
Jon answered. Selmas hand fell from his hair.

"Oh..." selma realized that but then again she didnt. "Maybe he says no," selma shrugged

"I dont think one says no to the king." Jon countered. She suppose he was correct. She didn't wanna lose her father. She wondered what would happen if someone said to King her father said no to the king.

Jon grabbed her hand pulling her towards the water. She quickly objected, saying her annoying twin, and even more obnoxious mother would throw a fit and pop a blood vessel if she got her dress ruined or hair drenched.

Jon promised he would not push her in. And true to his word he didn't. Unfortunately, the wolves got excited and jumped up, pushing him in.

"Jon!" Selma declared reaching into the water to pull him up. He coughed, spitting up water as he pulled himself back onto the icy shore. "Heavens me, are you alright?"

" well an angel pulled me out of the water so what do you think?" He teased. he was freezing. His clothes were already frozen on his body, but he leaned forward and kissed her cheek. It was the most magical thing.

"We should get you back. Warm up, oh jon you will catch your death out here!"

Selma was quick to help jon back even went as far as peeling away his coat and shirt. She stared too long at his chest and bare stomach the fine lines of his muscles from hours of training. Her mouth went dry

"I can take it from here." He shivered back. Selma nodded turning around

"I will get you some tea." She offered before running off.

"You look flushed! Honey where have you been?" Catelyn demanded.

"I was with jon i was just getting him some-"

Catelyn groaned shaking her head. Selma sighed looking to her hands still cold from being outside.

"I didn't ruin my dress im just cold is all don't worry mother-"

"I don't understand your fascination with him. Just stay away from jon."

"You are so dramatic." Selma groaned. Like hell she would stay away from jon. She apologized for taking so long when she got back to jons room. He was pulling on his shirt as she closed the door. She held out the tea to him.

"Thanks selma. You are so sweet."

"Only to you." Selma countered sitting on the edge of his bed. She flopped back on the bed and jon laughed as she declared that she was going to die if she had sit through another stupid fitting for the royal family and their amazing appearance.

"You have to protect me Jon." Selma requested. "Keep them away from me at all costs!"

"You might not think that once you meet them. The prince... you don't care for him like sansa does." Jon realized.

"Why would i care for the prince when i have you."
