Jon gathered the men of the nights watch and his very hairy friend tormund. Selma stuck to jons side. She didnt trust these men. Edd was kind to her. Jon assured that Edd was one of the good ones. Selma still stuck to jons side.

"We can't defend the north from the Walkers and the south from the Boltons. If we want to survive, we need Winterfell, and to take Winterfell, we need more men."

Men were a problem. Lets get all the women in a room together and figure it out civially.

" Aside from the Starks and the Boltons, the most powerful houses in the North are the Umbers, the Karstarks, and the Manderlys." Davos remarked. He moved the tokens around the map to Winterfell. "The Umbers and the Karstarks have already declared for the Boltons, so we're not doing so well there."

" The Umbers gave Rickon to our enemies. They can hang." Selma demanded. "I will pull the lever."

"But the Karstarks declared for Ramsay without knowing they had another choice." Sansa added.

"Pish posh. They are both traitors. Off with their heads!" Selma declared.

"I beg your pardon, my ladies, but they know that a Stark beheaded their father. I don't think we can count on them either." Davos countered.

"Great. Following in robbs footsteps. Off with their heads!"

"Drama." Jon whispered his hand trailing down her back.

" How well do you know the North, Ser Davos?" Sansa demanded

" Precious little, my lady."

"My father always said Northerners are different. More loyal, more suspicious of outsiders." Sansa added

"Stubborn." Selma added. "Fickle, stubborn sons of bitches."

"Hush now he didnt say that... in front of you." Jon countered

"I was ease dropping. Duh." Selma answered.

Jon remembered selma always trying to get in with the boys. She didnt care for fighting like arya but she liked being near them. Being near jon. She would go on a deadly mission with blood and gore if it meant being near jon. She was always chasing after him. Wanting to be near him and now she got to claim him. To kiss him. To hold him and they had to keep it a secret.

"They may well be loyal, but how many rose up against the Boltons when they betrayed your family? I may not know the North, but I know men. They're more or less the same in any corner of the world and even the bravest of them don't want to see their wives and children skinned for a lost cause. If Jon's going to convince them to fight alongside him, they need to believe it's a fight they can win."

Jon can win. Jon was strong and brave and fearless. Selma knew that in jons arms she was safe. She wanted others to know that too.

" There are more than three other houses in the North -- Glover, Mormont, Cerwyn, Mazin, Hornwood. Two dozen more. Together they equal all the others. We can start small and build." Jon assured.

"The North remembers." Sansa corrected "They remember the Stark name. People will still risk everything for it, from White Harbor to Ramsay's own door."

" I don't doubt it. But Jon doesn't have the Stark name." Davos countered

"No, but I do." Sansa corrected

"And I do." Selma added. "Being the eldest." She cleared her throat "besides Jon is every bit as much Ned Stark's son as Ramsay is Roose Bolton's... not to compare Jon to that man. Jon is perfection and ramsay is a monster." Sansa rolled her eyes. Jon was jon. Nothing special.
