"You are my sister, but I am king now." Jon spoke up Sansa's face pinched.

"Oh no..." selma whispered but sansa spoke over her because of course she did. The twins were always opposite. In literally everything.

" Will you start wearing a crown?" Sansa sassed.

"I would look good in a crown. Or would it mess up my hair?" Selma debated touching her fiery hair.

"When you question my decisions in front of the other lords and ladies, you undermine me." Jon reminded her.

"So I can't question your decisions anymore?"

"I always question your decisions." Selma cut in. Sansa glared back at her.

" Of course you can, but--" Jon began

" Joffrey never let anyone question his authority. You think he was a good king?" Sansa sassed

"You werent the one that almost had to marry that fucker." Selma reminded her sister. "Dont compare my sweet jon to that monster!"

"Do you think I'm Joffrey?" Jon demanded insulted. Selma grabbed his hand. Sansa was more like joffrey.

" You're as far from Joffrey as anyone I've ever met." Sansa corrected.

" Thank you." he whispered

"Then stop being a bitch sansa!" Selma added loudly.

" You're good at this, you know." Sansa admitted reluctantly.

"At what?"

"At ruling."

" No." Jon sighed back

" You are." Selma agreed hugging him. He so easily wrapped his arms around her.

"They respect you, they really do, but you have to--" Sansa began but Jon chuckled "Why are you laughing?"

"What did father used to say? Everything before the word "but" is horse shit." Jon remarked continuing on their way

" He never said that to me."

"No. No, he never cursed in front of his girls." Jon confirmed

"Oh he said to me. But was my favorite additive." Selma mumbled. "I love you mother but you are doing it wrong. Yes bran is climbing but it wasnt my idea..." jon chuckled.

" Because he was trying to protect us." Sansa corrected. "He never wanted us to see how dirty the world really is, but Father couldn't protect me and neither can you. Stop trying."

"You can keep protecting me. Im okay with it." Selma assured

"All right sansa, I'll stop trying to protect you and you stop trying to undermine me." Jon decided

"Yeah. What he said!" Selma agreed.

" I'm not trying to undermine you." Sansa demanded grabbing his arm. Selma didnt like that. Jon was hers to touch and only hers. "You have to be smarter than Father. You need to be smarter than Robb. I loved them, I miss them, but they made stupid mistakes, and they both lost their heads for it."

" And how should I be smarter? By listening to you?"

"As if you are so smart sansa." Selma scoffed.

" Would that be so terrible?" Sansa agreed

"Yes. I think so. You have always thought yourself the best but you didnt earn this role like jon did. We suffered but he went to war. Many times. Died. Came back like a savior." Selma remarked. "What did you do besides fondle Petyr Baelish?" Selma sassed. Sansa was ready to scream when the maester approached.

" A raven from King's Landing, Your Grace."

"Cersei of House Lannister, First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms--"

"What does she want?" Sansa demanded still glaring at selma.

"Wait cersei is queen queen? Now just queen regent- dowager queen and whatnot?" Selma countered.

"Come to King's Landing. Bend the knee or suffer the fate of all traitors." Jon read off

" You've been so consumed with the enemy to the north, you've forgotten about the one to the south."

"Cersei froze her ass off here last time she visited. Those southern knights- what did lady olenna call them? Pansy's? They wouldnt last a day fight the north men like jon." Selma decided confidently

"I'm consumed with the Night King because I've seen him. And believe me, you'd think of little else if you had, too." Jon corrected

" We still have a wall between us and the Night King. Theres nothing between us and Cersei." Sansa clarified.

"There's a thousand miles between us and Cersei." Selma countered. "How long did it take you to get here? It took me fucking moons to get here to jon. If they started their march it would take them just as ling. Maybe longer and Winter is here." Jon nodded in agreement

"Like Selma said The Lannisters are a southern army. They've never ranged this far north." Jon agreed.

" You're the military man, but I know her. If you're her enemy, she'll never stop until she's destroyed you. Everyone who's ever crossed her, she's found a way to murder." Sansa demanded

"You almost sound as if you admire her."

"I learned a great deal from her."

Jon looked to selma that night as she pulled the covers up to hide from the cold.

"What do you think of cersei?" Jon asked

"She only thinks of herself. Her children were an anchor and now they are gone. She doesnt care about anyone or anything else. Just herself. Im sure of it. Its probably why her and sansa got along so well." Selma answered. Jon nodded slowly.

"You were with them a long time."

"Tyrion wasnt bad. He was kind to me. Brought me carrot cake and never touched me. Sandor although he looked ferocious I think he saw me as a little sister. He wanted to protect us but the world twisted him. The fires at blackwater turned him into something else..." she shivered at the memory. "He did protect arya in the end." Selma recalled softly. "He asked me to go with him. Said he would get me safe but i was scared and sansa was shouting in my head even when she wasnt in the room i could hear her complaints and the war was raging, fires blazing. I could have been with you sooner." Selma realized.

"You are here now." Jon assured holding her. She snuggled into his chest.

"I love you Jon. Whatever worrisome thoughts are going through your head right now push them aside. You are doing good. Sansa is always going to be a bitch. Im always going to love you."

"I love you, Selma."
