"They are planning on taking the rock." Selma remarked.
"The rock, why?"
"To piss of Tyrion's family." Selma suggested.
"How did you hear this?"
"Tyrion likes to talk." Selma answered getting ready. Jon stared back at her as she fixed her pants. Yes pants, her mother would be horrified. "What?" she asked fixing her sleeves and brushing her red hair from her face.
"You just look..."
"Yes?" She purred stepping closer.
"Beautiful." Jon answered kissing her. "You know you dont have to help with this."
"I'm going to get my anger out." Selma corrected. "Hacking at a wall will help. It's that or I hack at Daenerys the many self named bitch." Jon chuckled kissing her cheek, he liked kissing her, she liked him kissing her. His lips constantly on her.
"I want to show you something." Jon said taking her hand in his. She wrapped his arm around her so she could have both hands on her as they walked.
"You drew some pictures?" Selma teased.
"You were the artist, not me." Jon countered.
"My fallen sand castle would beg to differ." Selma murmured. "The first men? Together?" Selma asked.
"The Children of the Forest made these." Jon agreed.
"Cool." Selma touched the murals. " When do you think they did this? How long have these been down here?"
"A very long time ago." He answered putting his hand over hers.
" They were right here standing where we're standing." Selma realized. The murals depict Children of the Forest and the First Men standing together. " Do you think they were here together the Children and the First Men?"
"I do." Jon agreed. He moved her slightly to show her another mural. Selma liked his closeness, while outside the cave it was warm and sunny, inside it was breezy and cool. There was a mural of the Night King and White Walkers. It sent a shiver through Selma. " They fought together against their common enemy. Despite their differences, despite their suspicions, together. We need to do the same if we're going to survive."
"Meaning be nice to Daenerys, we need her help?" Selma grumbled like it was going to be the hardest task possible. Jon nodded. "I can try but remember, she is still enemy number two, maybe number three."
While Selma got to work Jon told Daenerys the same thing, she assumed they were all here fighting each other because her mind went to war and death.
"Because the enemy is real. It's always been real." Jon assured.
" And you say you can't defeat them without my armies and my dragons?"' Daenerys asked, Selma peered back at them.
"No, I don't think I can." she stepped closer to him. Selma tensed, she didnt like this bitch getting that close to her man.
" I will fight for you. I will fight for the north...when you bend the knee." Daenerys assured. Selma could be heard around the bend, her groan was audible.
"My people won't accept a southern ruler, not after everything they've suffered." Jon corrected, Daenerys stepped closer, annoyed.
"They will if their king does. They chose you to lead them. They chose you to protect them. Isn't their survival more important than your pride?" Daenerys countered
"Our pride?" Selma scoffed. "What about your humanity? Compassion? Decency to want to help?" She demanded jon turned to her, hoping to silence her but Selma was never one to be silenced. "A good queen should want to help, not just because you get something out of it." Selma demanded as Tyrion walked up. Jon moved to Selma.
"You are right." Jon assured as Daenerys addressed Tyrion.
"What is it?"
" We took Casterly Rock."
"Of course I'm right and she doesnt like it." Selma hissed.
"Pissing her off won't fix anything Sel." Jon countered.
"It will fix something if I punch her and break her nose." Selma mumbled.
"Dont do that." Jon countered. "You will hurt your hand." He added with a grin, his lips pressed against her temple.
" That's very good to hear." Daenerys agreed but they were not eager to deliver the news. " Isn't it?"
" You'll want to discuss this amongst yourselves. Perhaps --" Davos offered.
"You will stay. All my allies are gone. They've been taken from me while I've been sitting here on this island." Daenerys corrected
"We have been sitting here because you trapped us." Selma agreed. "Maybe you leave, we leave and we forget Targaryen ever existed. Like the rest of the world has for... 18 years?" Selma pondered. Daenerys growled, literally growled at her.
"We still have the largest army." Tyrion countered
"Who won't be able to eat because Cersei has taken all the food from the Reach." Daenerys spat
" Call Grey Worm and the Unsullied back. We still have enough ships to carry the Dothraki to the mainland. Commit to the blockade of King's Landing. We have a plan. It's still the right plan." Tyrion assured
"The right plan? Your strategy has lost us Dorne, the Iron Islands and the Reach." Daenerys shouted. Selma didnt mean to laugh but westeros was not a land of savages, it wasnt pentos and the desert. It was filled with armies and stronger men than she had it seemed.
" If I've underestimated our enemies --"
" Our enemies? Your family, you mean. Perhaps you don't want to hurt them after all." Daenerys hissed. "Enough with the clever plans." She looked to her dragons flying over the land. "I have three large dragons. I'm going to fly them to the Red Keep."
"We've discussed this."
"She doesnt like to listen when things dont go her way." Selma agreed.
" My enemies are in the Red Keep. What kind of a queen am I if I'm not willing to risk my life to fight them?"
" A smart one." Tyrion offered, Daenerys turned to Jon.
"What do you think I should do?"
"I would never presume to --" Jon began but she interrupted.
"I'm at war. I'm losing." she corrected moving towards Jon. "What do you think I should do?"
"Firstly," Selma began. "Take five steps back from my man." Selma demanded. "Secondly... are you not listening?" She added her head moving closer in annoyance. Daenerys took a step back and Jon took three more back. Good boy.
"I never thought that dragons would exist again." Jon admitted looking to the dragons. " No one did. The people who follow you know that you made something impossible happen. Maybe that helps them believe that you can make other impossible things happen. Build a world that's different from the shit one they've always known." Jon hesitated. "But if you use them to melt castles and burn cities, you're not different. You're just more of the same."
