The chapter starts with Oscar fighting off the pirates in the cargo hold. "We're sinking if you haven't noticed!" He points out in bewilderment.
"Exactly, why are these pirates ignoring the current situation?!" Marrow question, flabbergasted.
Water continues to pour into the cargo hold as more pirates appear and try to kill Oscar. They keep fighting as the water fills half the area and the ship starts tilting.
"Damn it, this isn't good." Oscar mutters. He finishes off the remaining pirates. The ship continues to tilt and he slides on the floor that becomes more sloped. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no..."
"Hang on to something, Oscar!" Ruby exclaims in fear.
The ship rolls on its side and Oscar plunges into the water. He swims back up into the surface, spluttering. "I gotta get outta here." He gasps in panic.
"Quickly!" Jaune urged in fear.
Oscar spots an entrance to a hallway on a ledge. He began making his way out by either climbing or swimming through the hold area and make it to what is the hallway of the upper floors. He starts going down the hallway walking on the wall since everything is now sideways. He goes through a door but it closes. He hangs on before he loses his grip and falls onto another door, cracking it and sending water flying up.
"Oh no, that's not good." Neptune says, worried.
Oscar gets up and tries to get away but the water starts to shoot out other doorways around him. A rectangular machine above him falls and pins him to the ground.
"Oh shit, c'mon dude! Lift it up!" Sun urged.
As the water around him rises, Oscar takes a deep breath and pulls his head underwater. He forces the machine off him and swims to the water's surface. At this point, the water almost gets to the wall that's now the ceiling. He sticks his head out to get more air before plunging back down. He quickly swims over to a vent and pulls it open. He goes through and comes out in the hallway without water.
Ruby sighs with relief. "That was too close..."
As Oscar pulls himself out, he hears a big rumbling sound from behind.
"I spoke too soon."
"Oh, no. Oh, shit." Oscar mutters. He makes a run for it as the door behind him bursts open and water comes pouring out. He jumps over an opening of another hallway and the water behind him pours into it. He keeps moving and gets to an open doorway above him. He climbs up it and gets inside a passenger room. He drops on the wall and climbs up the furniture to get to the door above.
"Which way is up?" He asks. He goes through more doors to get higher until he reaches the outside deck. He runs along the wall of the deck and sees the ship now on its side, slowly sinking.
"He needs to get out before the ship sinks into the ocean." Clover says.
"But what's he going to use to swim across?" Harriet question.
"Hmmm... I do not know."
Oscar gets to the end of the deck and gets back inside the hull. He enters a glass elevator. He pushes buttons on the control panel and elevator doors close and it starts moving. "Finally, something went right." He said, relieved.
"He's jinxing himself again." Emerald deadpans.
The elevator moves to the side due to being sideways. The large party room is below. Suddenly, the glass wall he stands on starts cracking. "Oh, shit. No, no, no." Oscar pleaded in worry.
