The chapter starts from the front landing gear, Oscar enters a small maintenance compartment and waits until the plane reaches the desert. About an hour or two later, he decides to head to the cargo hold to get ready to parachute.

He opens a vent in the compartment and moves through the duct. After crawling for a little while, he reaches the floor of the hold and gets under a vent in the floor. Suddenly, a shadow looms over him and a tall muscular mercenary notices him from above.

"Oh no." Jaune says in fear.

"Oh, shit." Oscar cursed in alarm as the brute opens the vent and pulls him out.

"Jeez, give him a break already!" Nora retorts. "It hasn't even been five minutes and he's already having a tough time!"

The big mercenary holds Oscar by his collar and slams him against the wall. He then reaches over to the lever next to Oscar's head and pulls it down, opening the hatch of the plane and laughs menacingly.

"Oh no!" Ruby exclaims in worry. "Let him go right now!"

Weiss inward groaned. 'Poor choice of words, Ruby.'

Oscar realizes what the big mercenary was planning to do to him. He reaches for his gun but the brute takes it from him and hits him in the head with it. He then starts carrying him towards the open hatch.

"No, no, no... let's, let's talk about this..." Oscar pleaded, frantically.

"He's a mercenary. He doesn't talk, he shoots." Mercury points out.

The mercenary ignores Oscar and drags him down the ramp and throws him off. Oscar rolls on the little runway and gets up as the brute comes towards him.

"Get him, Oscar!" Yang cheered.

"Yeah, teach that brute not to toss you off!" Nora cheered as well.

Oscar and the mercenary starts to fight on the ramp. Oscar dodges hiss attacks and hits him hard enough to stun him. He runs back into the hold and tries to pull the parachute cord on the first crate.

"Come on, come on." He groaned, pulling the rope with all his might. The mercenary gets up and approaches him angrily.

"Oscar, hurry!!" Jaune urged in panic.

Oscar finally pulls the cord and the parachute opens up. He steps back as the crate is blown out the back and rams into the mercenary knocking him out of the plane.

"Thanks for flying with us!" He yelled.

"See you never!" Nora waved, grinning.

The crate flying out starts a chain reaction that causes more cargo to start flying out as well. "Oh, no. Oh, crap, no." Oscar mutters.

"Maybe, that wasn't a great idea..." Ren mumbles.

An entire truck and trailer rolls out. Oscar tries to avoid the heavy objects spilling out until he's hit by one and flies out the back with it.

"Oscar!!" Ruby cried out in worry.

"Quick! Grab something!!" Blake urged.

Oscar quickly grabs hold of a net around the trailer behind the truck that is hanging out the back. He slowly pulls himself back towards the ramp as cargo flies over him. Another guy flies out the back and grabs the net in front of Oscar. He shoots at him with a machine gun pistol.

"You kidding me?" He shouts, frantically.

"Hey, asshole, you realize you're about to fall to your death, right?" Coco sassed.

Oscar climbs further up and grabs the guy's leg. He pulls him off the net and takes his gun, the guy flying away over to the desert.

"That'll teach ya, dickhead." Neon says.

Oscar gets back onto the ramp and runs into the plane. Some cargo manages to stay on and he uses it for cover as more men appear and shoot at him. He shoots back and the gunfight causes a generator to break and start a fire in the plane.

"Hey dumbasses, instead of shooting at Oscar, maybe you brace yourselves." Emerald suggested. "The plane is about to go down."

Then a part of the side explodes and makes a hole. The cargo and men start to get sucked out of the hole.

"Oh, God!" Oscar exclaims, holding on tight.

Then when it can't get any worse, the entire front of the plane rips off from the back and Oscar is ejected and blown into the air.

"Oscar!!" Most of the students shouts in worry.

Oscar screams in panic as he soars in midair and the plane crashes into the desert below him. He glides around the free falling pieces of cargo and sees one flying nearby.

"Quick, grab it!!" Yang yells, urgently.

Oscar moves himself through the air as best he can towards the crate and rams into it. He grabs hold of the net around it and pulls the parachute cord as he falls. He gets the parachute open and the crate descends slowly to the ground with him holding on.

"Oh, thank God..." He mutters, relieved.

The students sighed with relief too.

"How the hell does he survive all of this??" Neptune questions in shock.

"Guess he's just that lucky." Sun chuckled, warily.

Oscar looks over and sees the massive wreckage of the plane sticking in the sand. The cargo lays all around it. No one else survived the crash. The crate lands on the ground and he drops down. He now realizes that he's arrived at the Rub' al Khali desert and is now stranded in it.

"Oh, no. Oh, this is not good." He says, worried.
