Lisa POV

"This party is boring" I said to Tyla shouting in her ear.

She laugh.

"The party is not boring. You just don't like to mingle with people" She said.

"Then why are you bringing me here?"

"You need to loosen up a little bit Lis. You are being cranky lately"

I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not being cranky. People are annoying these days"

"Oh am I annoying to you now?" She asked.

I playfully punch her arm.

"Shut up!" I said to her.

"I'm gonna find some food" She said whispering to me.

I nodded.

We are at the bar to celebrate Michael's party. He's the basketball captain in our college. Every girl have a crush on him. He's tall, have a good hair, his eyes are blue sometimes turn to grey, perfect jawline, and good physic. Unfortunately I'm not into man, otherwise I already run into him.

I'm not really a party person. I hate chit chat, that's not my thing. It's tiring to meet new people and trying to make a conversation with them. So I prefer to be here near the bar stand, far from the crowd.

Everyone is enjoying the music, I have my gin tonic while seeing those people dancing on upbeat music.

"Not a party person huh?" I heard someone beside me. I look at his direction.

"And not into men as well" I said smiling.

"I see. Direct rejection. That's hurt" He said.

"Just letting you know"

He nodded.

"Alex. Michael's brother" He said extended his hand to me.

No wonder why he looks like Michael but way more handsome.

"Lisa" I took his hand for handsake and give him smile.

"I never seen you before. Is this your first time coming to his party?"

I nodded.

"My friend is one of the girls who's hovering your brother" I point to Michael who's dancing with all the girls around him including Tyla.

He laugh.

"Wanna join them?" He asked.

"Nah. I'm good here"

"Are you sure? There are a lot of girls down there"

"Just not my type" I said.

"Then what is your type of girl?"

I was about to answer when suddenly lights off and spotlight on the stage only.

"Oh she's here!" Alex said, his face lighten up.

"Who?" I asked curiously.

"My cousin's best friend"

"Everyone! We have special performance from our special guest! Please welcome Jennie Ruby Jane Kim!"

The host said and everyone clapping including Alex.

"Come on Jennie!" He shout cheering her and clap his hands.
