Today is the first day construction of our new hotel project in Jeju. So I'm here to monitor it. It's my habit to present on the first day of our project.

They start the first step of construction by drilling the ground for the foundation. This hotel will be 1 of the luxury hotel in Jeju with 15th floor and rooftop bar. We aim to finish the construction in less than 2 years.

I wish Jennie could come to Jeju with me, unfortunately she had to stayed back in Seoul, since there are so many reports she has to review.

These past 2 weeks had been great between Jennie and I. I couldn't explain our equation, since it's more like passive aggressive, but she show me how much she wants me back. She haven't meet Bam bam these 2 weeks and it's giving me relief.

I walked at the beach and suddenly remember the night I spent with Jennie the last time we visited Jeju.

"Oh speaking of which" My phone is ringing and it's showing The Ex 💔

I picked up the phone.

"Miss me already?"

"You wish"

"Ouch that's hurt"

I can tell she rolled her eyes over there.

"Why did you call?"

"Can't I just casually call you?"

"Of course you can. It's just very rare" I scratch the back of my head.

"Guess where am I right now?"

"Hotel obviously since you are lazy and prefer to lay down"

"If you were here I will definitely do that, but I'm not in the hotel right now. I'm walking by the shore. And it's remind me of our night the other day here"

"And then we fight the next morning"

I sigh.

"Are you on your period? Why so grumpy?"

I heard her took a deep sigh.

"Dad wants me to join for family vacation to Cuba for 10 days. He already prepared everything. And we will fly in two days"

I stopped my step.

"In 2 days? I'm still here then"

"I know. That's why I'm so grumpy today. You are in Jeju for 5 days and I've to go to Cuba for 10 days. It means I won't see you for 2 weeks"

Suddenly she start crying.

"Why are you crying?" I giggled.

"Why wouldn't I? You didn't even meet me before going to Jeju and now how could I survive for the next 2 weeks without you"

She sobs even more. And I can't hold my laugh.

"Okay okay stop crying. It's just 2 weeks. We will meet again once you come back. It's not like you go to Cuba to permanently stay there"

"Why are you so chill? Do you have a backup while I'm away?"

I was startled by her words.

"Aigooo! What kind of accusation is this?"

"You don't sound like missing me at all"

"Of course I miss you silly. That's why I'm walking by the shore. To remember you"

"Why you didn't meet me before your flight?"

I can sense her serious tone.

"I woke up late so I rushed to the airport"
