The Reunion

Jennie POV

It's been a week already since I spied on Lisa. And yes, I still haven't checked the woman's background yet. I don't want to create any issues with Lisa in the future. Let this curiosity kill me.

I called up her secretary but she said Lisa hasn't come to the office yet. Its 11am already, just where is she?

"Should I just come to office and check it by myself?" I said to myself.

I'm at a coffee shop across the office building, fully disguised, even I used my other car, I cannot risk getting caught.

I tried to distract my mind from thinking about her by doing my work here.

"Excuse me Ma'am, your coffee" Said the waitress and put the coffee on my table.

"Thank you" I said.

Then I heard a laugh coming in from the entrance. It's Lisa, with that woman Alice. The latter had her hand clinging on Lisa's arm.

I quickly hide myself behind the laptop and peak on them.

"You're a dead meat Manoban" I mumbled.

"Where do you wanna seat?" Lisa asked her.

She was looking around and looking at my direction.

I hide my face again and pretending typing on my laptop.

"There" She said.

They come closer to my direction and sit behind me.

"Out of the available seat, why she chose to sit behind me?" I whispered to myself.

"Excuse me" I heard Lisa is calling the waitress.

"What do you want to have?" Lisa asked her.

"Cappucino latte is fine" She said.

"Okay, 1 hot chocolate milk and cappucino latte. Thank you"

I saw the waitress went back to the counter and preparing their order.

"So what's the deal between you and the beauty Heiress?" Alice asked.

I couldn't help myself from eavesdropping them since she's mentioning me. I'm sure the beauty heiress she's referring to is me not anyone else.

"Nothing"

Nothing? What does she mean by nothing?

"What do you mean by nothing? Rosè said you guys get back together"

"No. It's all complicated"

No? Does she have no intention getting back with me?

"So you are still single?"

"You could say so"

What the fuck Manoban. You are not single and you are pretty attached to me!

I clenched hard the tea spoon that I held.

"Well if that's the case. Can we date?" Alice said.

"Sure. I don't see a problem" Lisa said.

Spontaneously I get up and shout at her.

"YA MANOBAN!"

Lisa & Alice were startled. They blinking their eyes and only staring at me.

"What do you mean by don't see a problem?! Of course there's a problem! You are mine! You are my future wife!"

"Jennie? I thought you are in Cuba" Lisa said.
