The Culprit

Jennie POV

I cried my heart out. Tears falling like a waterfall. Panic is engulfing me seeing Lisa is laying down on the gurney. Her bleeding didn't stop and it scared me.

"I'm sorry Ma'am but you have to wait here" Said the nurse.

I saw them took Lisa to the operation room, then I fell on my knees.

"Jennie... Please get up. You have to calm down" Jisoo said while holding me up.

I hugged her and cried.

"I'm afraid Chu. What if something bad happened to her? What if she can't survive?"

She caressed my back "Lisa is a strong woman Jen. You know her better than any of us here"

"Don't you see her blood. It didn't stop" I said.

"Just calm down okay. Doctors are here to help her"

I saw Rosè talked to the police and they came to us.

"Excuse me Ms Kim. Myself Inspector Taeyang from the Crime Branch. I'm sorry for what happened to Ms Manoban. But I've to ask you some questions" He said.

I nodded.

"Does Ms Manoban have any enemy or business rival?"

I shook my head "No. She doesn't have enemy"

"I heard from Ms Park that yesterday Ms Manoban had fall out with her long time friend?"

"It was just misunderstanding between them. I don't think he had anything to do with this" I said.

"Jen. He was threatening you two" Rosè butted in.

"He would have done that long time ago if he wants to hurt Lisa" I said to Rosè.

"But.. Yesterday morning, there's this creepy guy who was bothering us on the way to office. He seemed did it in purpose. He was blocking our way" I said to the office.

They all looking at me.

"Can you recognize the face?" He asked.

"Maybe if I see his face again I can tell"

"Was your party private? Only people with invitation can get in?"

I nodded.

"Then it's impossible for intruder no?" Jisoo asked us.

"We can't tell that yet. My team is checking the CCTV footage right now. Hopefully we can get any lead from there" He said.

"Are you suspecting anyone Ms Kim?"

"I can't think of anyone for now. My focus is Lisa"

He nodded.

"I think that's all I wanna ask. I will call you when we get a lead. I wish speedy recovery for Ms Manoban. Good night"

Then he left us.

"What if it was Bambam's plan? He looked like a serial killer to me" Rosè said.

"I don't know. Can we just focus on Lisa right now? I seriously can't think of anything"

We all sit on the chair in front of the operation room.

It's almost 2 hours and the doctor still hasn't come yet, not even the nurse.

Then I saw the door open. We all got up.

"Doctor how is she?"

He open his mask.

"We stopped the bleeding. But... Her kidney is seriously injured because of the stab. We don't have any other option other than removed it. Otherwise she will suffer from chronic kidney disease and it will require longlife treatment"
