The Plane

Lisa POV

It's 2pm and I just finished my meeting for monthly report. My day started in a good note as Jennie is not in the office today, she has to attended conference meeting with investors today in Jeju.

I was walking at the hallway of my office when I saw everyone was busy on their phone with concern look on their face. As I got curious, I approached one of them.

"What are you guys looking at the phone?" I said while peeking to his phone.

He jolt up and looking up to me and not answering anything.

"What happened? Why is your face like that?"

He shook his head.

"Give me your phone!" I snatched his phone and reading the news.

"BREAKING NEWS! Korean Air K-018 route Seoul - Jeju crashed in to the ocean"

My heart dropped while reading the headlines. That's Jennie's flight. She's in that plane.

I didn't think twice. I run heading to the lobby and approaching my car at the parking lot.

I drive in full speed to Gimpo Airport.

I keep honking every car in front of me. I don't care about the fine I will get after, I had to reach the airport as soon as possible. I need to know about the real situation.

30 minutes later I reached the airport. I rushed to go inside not minding the security who's trying to stop me because I left the car at the drop off stop.

Chaos. People screaming their relative names. I saw a lot of people crying. My heartbeat is racing, I can feel my hands are shaking, I started breathing rapidly as panic is engulfing me. The airport crew trying to calm them down. I pushed everyone aside.

"Excuse me. I need to know about my friend's whereabouts. She took this flight. What's the situation?" I asked the crew.

"Ma'am you can check all the passengers name on that board. We are still in search for the plane, because we lost their contact 20 minutes before their land. Last position was above the ocean near Jeju. According to the witness, he heard an explosion coming from under the ocean" She said.

"Everyone please calm down! We are trying our best to find the plane. We will keep you updated!" She shouted again.

Shit! I run my fingers on my hair, feeling anxious. Then I saw the LED board. I walk to it and search for her name.

I trail my finger from up to down. Then I spot her name.

"Fuck! Jennie!" Tears coming down from eyes.

"No! You can't leave me like this!" I closed my face with both of my hands.

I cried my heart out loud. I can't lose her. I love her.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Lisa?"

I turned around and I saw Jennie. I hugged her tight. I felt a sudden relief seeing her.

"You're alive" I buried my face on her neck. Sobbing.

I feel her caressing my back.

"You scared me for a split second" I said.

"Why are you crying?" She asked me and I released the hug.

She looked at me intetively. Gosh her feline eyes are weakening me.

"I thought you were on the plane crashed" I said still sobbing.

"Yeah I was supposed to but I fallen sleep at the lounge and missed the flight" She explained.
