FIRST LOVE (JENLISA)

The Mistake

Lisa POV

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

I look up to her.

"There's something I've to tell you"

My heart beat is racing. Should I tell her?  But what should I tell her?

She looked at me worried. I swear I can't take any longer looking into her eyes. There's sincerity in her eyes.

How could I break it.

"What is it Lisa?" She asked me.

I'm trying to say a word but nothing comes out of my mouth. As if something is holding me back. But I've to tell her.

"Jennie.. I .."

"Uhm?"

"I .."

"Just say it Lisa" She said softly.

I closed my eyes before I finally speak.

"I have to go to Thailand for a week" I said it fast holding my breath.

She blinked her eyes in shock.

"That's all?" She asked and raising her eyebrows.

I nodded nervously.

"Idiot! You make me scared for a second. I thought something related to that Diana" She shake her head and approaching the couch.

It is Jen. It is related to her.

"What's so important that you have to go to Thailand?" She asked.

I stood still near the door looking at her who's sitting comfortably on the couch.

"I went to meet Dad this morning and he informed that my Grandma is not feeling well. He asked me to visit her, he said she missed me"

"I see.. Can I come with you?"

"Not now. Some other time, I promise" I said smile a bit.

I walked to her and sit beside her, taking her hand and caressing the back of her palm.

"Besides, the company needs you here" I smile to her.

"Right. While you are away, I've to keep an eye on them" She said pointing out to the employees office are.

I scoff giggling.

"Are you okay?" She caress my cheek.

"I am"

She nodded.

"Alright then. I'll go back to my office now"

She peck my lips before getting up and approaching the door. My gaze is following her.

I was about to get up when she turned around.

"Lisa.."

I look up to her direction.

"You are not hiding something from me right?"

Did she know?

I was taken aback by her question.

"N-no. Nope. Why would I hiding something from you" I smile nervously.

"Okay then" She smile and closed the door leaving my room.

I sigh in relief and lay back to the couch.

"Fuck! I lied to her" I said to myself.
