The Test

Lisa POV

"I thought you already on the way to Cuba" I asked her.

"I told Mom that I don't wanna go, so Dad cancelled the plan" She said while feeding me food.

"Why you don't wanna go?"

"Because you were mad at me"

"Me being mad at you had nothing to do with your plan to Cuba. You still can go. I'm fine with it" I shrugged.

She put the bowl down.

"Why are you so eager to have me away from you?" She asked then squinted her eyes.

"You have a backup don't you? Who's that woman?!" Her face turned tense.

"None of your business" I said.

Suddenly she attacked me with punches on my arms.

"Aww awww awww. Stop it Kim!"

"Who's that woman? Tell me her name. Home address, phone number, email ID!"

"What are you? Insurance marketing?" I asked and giggling.

Her hit is getting stronger.

"Ya Jennie Kim I said stop!" I shouted.

Anger is visible on her face. She's pouting and looking away from me.

"Are you jealous?" I asked.

"Isn't that obvious Manoban?"

I giggled.

"It seems the ice had meltdown now"

We both looking at the door and saw my Dad along with Jennie's parents.

"How are you feeling Lisa?" Uncle James asked.

"I was feeling better, until this cat over here punching me here and there"

She slapped me on the arm again.

"See!" I said.

"Jennie" Aunty said.

"She's being annoying Mom. She has a backup. That's why she's looking forward for me to go to Cuba" Jennie said.

I tight my lips trying to hold my laugh.

"You know what. I changed my mind now. Let's go to Cuba Dad"

I saw her parents widened their eyes.

"Are you sure?" Uncle James asked her.

"Yes"

"Okay, I will re arrange the ticket for tonight's flight"

"You still don't want to tell me who's that woman?" She asked.

I shook my head left to right.

"Fine. I'm going then"

"Okay" I said flat.

She looked at me in disbelief.

"Lalisa. I said. I. Am. Going!" She emphasizes the words.

"And I said. Okay"

"You both stop the bickering" Dad said.

"Jennie, Lisa is just messing up with you. There's no other woman in her life other than you" Dad said.

"Who said?" I asked Dad.

"You don't, do you?"

"Well I do have another woman. I just haven't tell you yet"
