The Compromise

Jennie POV

"Shit" I mumbled to myself.

I've no balls to turn around and face her. I can't see her fuming face.

Even Bam bam just stood there and looking at the manequin. We both froze.

"Your woman is here" Bam bam said whispering.

"I know. We are busted" I whisper back.

"Look at me you both!" Lisa said.

We both turn around slowly. Bambam's face turn pale and I can tell that my face is pale as well.

What is she doing here?

"Hi Baby. What a surprise!" I said nervously flaunting my smile.

"Indeed a surprise" She said bitterly.

"I thought you'll be back in 3 days"

"So you can spend more time with this douche?"

"Hey. I'm just accompanied her to buy clothes okay. No need to call me out like that" Bam bam said.

"Whatever" Lisa said and left.

"Lisa!"

I was about to chase her but Bam bam hold my hand and shook his head.

"Don't. She's angry. Let her alone for a while. She won't listen to your explanation anyway"

Bam bam is right. Lisa will never hear my explanation when it comes to Bambam. So I just stood there and seeing her walking away.

"I'll drop you back to your office" He said.

I nodded.

Lisa POV

I'm such a fool to sacrifice my work and my time just to get dump again like this. Just whenever I start trusting her, she broke it in a second. And why this Bam bam always appear here and there. Why Jennie can't maintain her distance from him?

I thought I could surprise her by my sudden visit, turned out she's the one who surprise me.

I slapped my head "Stupid Manoban. Stupid stupid stupid!"

I park my car outside my office building, I only stare at the building and not sure if I should go inside or not. What if he's there with her in her office.

"Aish! I will surely kill you one day Bam" I said to myself.

I hop off the car and went inside the building.

All the employees greet and bow at me as I walk through the hallway.

Curiosity engulfing me if Jennie already back to her office or not. So I approach her secretary.

"Is Jennie in her office?"

"She hasn't come back yet Ms Manoban"

I nodded.

"Thank you"

I proceed to go inside my room. It's better I don't see her coming with that douche.

"I knew I shouldn't trust you in the first place. I can't believe I fell into your trap again and again" I said to myself.

Thinking about Jennie is just giving me headache. So I open my laptop and do my work. It's better like this. I need distractions from thinking about her.

I was so drowned with work that I didn't even notice the time. I checked my wristwatch and it's 3pm already.

"Oh God I'm so sleepy" I said yawning.
