The Blackout

Jennie POV

"You bitch! I told you to stay away from my family!" Diana shout at me.

Diana came out of nowhere and slapped me really hard. I can feel the sting on my cheek.

Lisa got shocked to see her slapping me.

"Are you okay?" Lisa asked.

I didn't answer because it's too hurt.

"What the fuck is wrong with you! Why did you slap her?!" Lisa shouted at her.

I can see people gathering outside her room, since the door is wide open and they shout at each other.

"She put my father in jail!"

"I gave you what you want. I cancelled the deal. But you still put my father in jail and now I'm under police radar! You cunt!!"

Diana getting more furious by stepping forwards to me and trying to grab my hair but Lisa stop her.

"Stop it. I said stop it!!" Lisa said.

Her father is in jail? I never gave any order for that. All I asked Dad was to threatened them not put them behind the bar.

Shit. Don't tell me.

Lisa look around and saw everyone is looking inside her room.

"What are you all doing here? Do you work!" Lisa slammed the door and rolled down the curtain.

"What do you mean by she put your father in jail?" Lisa asked Diana.

No. Lisa shouldn't know about my threat towards Diana and her father.

"Lisa. Let it be" I said.

"No. You don't even know her family. And why would you threat them" Lisa said.

I heard Diana scoff and smile mocking me.

"This cunt knows everything about my family!" She said while pointing at me.

Lisa looking at my direction.

"Did I miss something?" Lisa asked me.

"Lisa.. " I said.

"She hired some private investigator to dig information about my family business and use it to against us, just to get you back!" Diana said.

In a second, I saw everything blank in Lisa's eyes.

"Shut up! It's nothing like that!" I shout at Diana.

Lisa only looking at me blank.

"Lisa... I can explain. It's not like what she said"

"Did you put her father in jail?"

"What? No. I didn't. I was just threatened them. Because I want to-"

"You threat them?" She cut me off.

"Lisa, I did it for you. Please try to understand"

"You hire investigators, and threat them just to get me back?"

I walk closer to her but she step backwards avoiding me.

"I didn't do it to get you back. I did it to help you. I don't want you to sell everything you have just to cancel the deal. You reject my offer and this was my only way"

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from my problem?"

"I can't do that knowing that you are in trouble. I just want to help"

"You really want to show how much power you have huh?" Lisa said bitterly.
