"Don't push me away... don't... don't do this to us.. Ms.. Please " Virat's voice cracked, raw with desperation as he held Mahi's face in his trembling hands, forcing him to meet his gaze.

Virat's heart raced, each beat echoing the fear of losing the one person who had come to mean everything to him.

Mahi closed his eyes, then pried Virat's hands away from his face.

Mahi's voice trembled, his heart heavy with fear. "It could be risky. Society will judge us and I can't stand the thought of you enduring that because of me, because of us.. and I don't want that for you.

Mahi held Virat's gaze, his voice shaking "and It's not just about us.. I'm terrified of what this could mean for our future."

He paused, the weight of his words clear. "We have so much at stake and I refuse to be the one who jeopardizes it. I can't bear the thought of you getting hurt because of our feelings."

Virat interrupted, defiant. "I don't care what people think. I care about you and us."

Mahi's heart clenched, torn between love and fear. "It's not that simple" he whispered.

Virat leaned in, resting his forehead against Mahi's "It is simple. I love you MS. I've loved you so much."

Mahi's voice shook. "It isn't that easy baby.. I do not want us to become gossip. I can't tolerate anyone saying anything negative about you.. and most important thing.. your career! Virat! it's only the beginning. You are meant for so much more. I cannot endanger your or our futures."

Virat's face twisted with pain. "And what about the pain I'm going through without you? Can you accept that?"

Tears fell from Virat's eyes. "It must be easy for you right? You're always the one in control.. always thinking ahead. But what about me? What about my heart MS? Don't you see what this is doing to me?"

Virat's voice quiver with intensity. "Every day without you, I feel like I'm losing a part of me! Don't you understand that? I can't continue like this. I need you in my life... As my everything."

Mahi's voice shakes from pain. "We can't... not like this... you have a future ahead of you and I don't fit in the way you want."

Virat's voice was filled with hurt "so everything we've been through everything we've felt, it all means nothing?"

Mahi's chest tightened. "It means everything Virat. That's why I can't let this go any further. You have too much at stake.. your career.. your dreams.. your future.. your reputation, they matter more than us."

Virat's tears fell as he shook his head. "How can you say that?"

Mahi closed his eyes, each word biting deep but he forced himself to remain firm. "You are going to succeed Virat. You will make it to the top, but only if we don't allow things to spiral out of hand. If we give in to this.. we will ruin everything.. for both of us."

Virat's pain deepened, his eyes flickering with both anger and betrayal as he fixed his gaze on Mahi. "Did you ever even love me.. Ms?"

Mahi flinched at the sting of Virat's words. "Virat.. it's not like that. You know it's not."

"No! I don't!" Virat's voice erupted with rage, interrupting Mahi as he jabbed his fingers aggressively at Mahi's chest. "You're not protecting me MS. You're just scared.. scared of what people will say about us."
