~ South Africa tour of india ~

Team India returned from their two-week holiday and everything is on track in the South Africa test series where India is leading by two tests.

Today is the third test and Team India seems relaxed. Having already won two tests.. they have every reason to be pleased. The Indian team played comfortably on the field.

India scored 427 on the first day and 130 on the second day. South Africa has lost five wickets in their batting innings. It appears unlikely that South Africa will win this final test.

The atmosphere within the India team is laid-back and our skipper reflects this easygoing attitude.

While it's uncommon for our Indian captain to interact much with rival players but today was different. Our skipper appeared to be in high spirits even indulging in some playful on-field banter with the opposing side.

The India captain called out enthusiastically "alright team, let's bring the Eiffel Tower!" It's clear Ms Dhoni is thoroughly enjoying himself.

The team's premier fast bowler Anil kumble glanced at the skipper with an amused expression as if to say "he's certainly in high spirits out there."

As the previous batsman departs Makhaya Ntini the towering South African fast bowler strides to the crease.

"No worries here lads" Dhoni calls out to his teammates

A mischievous glint in his eye, he said "he won't be troubling us much."

Ntini adjusting his gloves as he prepares to face Kumble, overhears the quip.

"Makhaya boy"

Despite the competitive atmosphere, a smile tugs at his lips. He shakes his head slightly amused by Dhoni's wordplay and good-natured sledging.

As the final delivery from Anil Kumble thundered down the pitch Makhaya Ntini's wicket fell sealing the South African team's fate. With this India clinched the last test match, completing their series victory.

Players from both sides converged on the field, exchanging handshakes and congratulations.

With the test series concluded, attention shifted to the upcoming ODI matches set to begin the following day.

With a burst of energy Makhaya and Albie Morkel two of South Africa's cricketing titans charged towards MS Dhoni engulfed him in a hug.

Dhoni welcomed the hugs from them (their CSK connection has fostered a deep friendship between them). In just a year Dhoni had cultivated a strong friendship with these two South African cricketers, demonstrating how the sport could bridge international divides.

As the players mingled, Makhaya Ntini and Albie Morkel approached Dhoni with a light-hearted request.

"Hey MS " Makhaya called out with a grin on his face "since you've clinched the series, it's only fair you treat us to some incredible Indian cuisine."

Albie chimed in "yeah!! and show us the best local spots.. we should make the most of our free time before we're all caught up in cricket madness again."

Dhoni amused by their enthusiasm nodded in agreement. Makhaya added with a mischievous glint in his eye "Oh and don't forget to rope in suresh.. tell him to join us the more, the merrier!"
