Living With The Boss

Chapter 17

Last night i felt so on edge around him, there was still some pizza left over from when Ziya, Luke and Lilly were over and i heated that for supper and we spoke about the girls and how they were during the day. After supper he helped me bathe, feed and put them to bed. Within a second after the girls were placed in their bed i said goodnight to him and got ready for bed,as soon as i took a bath and got into my pj's i hopped into bed and let sleep consume me.

Waking up feeling this good is a welcomed surprise, my bed felt so cozy that i really am reluctant to leave but my bladder is opposing that right now. After using the loo and freshening up, i checked on the girls and both of them are still sound asleep so i decided to get some coffee, i checked to see if Daniel was awake and wanted some but he'd already left for work i suppose since he wasn't home, i suppose he wanted to start earlier today since he'd be leaving earlier this evening since his families dinner is at 6pm. I took a quick shower while the girls were still asleep and as soon as i got out i checked on them again and they were just laying there, beside each other and mumbling.

I never knew that it was possible to fall in love with everything about them even more everyday.

I got them settled in their playpin after feeding and bathing them and then i called Ziya. She answered on the 3rd ring.

"Hey Jess, How are you?"

"I'm pretty good actually and you?"

"I'm good. So did you get lucky after i left yesterday? Cause the sexual tension was so tangible that i had to get my kids and go."

"That is certainly not true and if by get lucky you mean, me having a relaxing sleep then yes. I called because i needed to know if you'd like me to get anything for today? Wine or Salad maybe?"

"My brother has to be the lamest guy i know and no honey, you should just bring yourself and the girls. Besides Daniel always brings the wine."

"Okay, so i'll see you later."

"Toodles hun."

After i hung up i called Sam, she's been crazy busy with work and wedding plans. Naturally as her maid of honor i've been helping out with some ideas and finalized most of the major things with the co-ordinator , her cakes chosen but we've been to a few dress shops but she still hasn't found her dress. The wedding is in 8 months time and she's kinda afraid that she won't get her dress in time so i needed to check in on her.

"Hey Sammy Sam. What are you doing?"

"Hey babe. My mom actually stopped by this morning and we headed to this dress boutique that her friend owns, we've decided to have a dress made and well i've been here for the passed two hours running through some ideas but i'm happy to inform my MOH that i decided on a dress and i'm really excited to see it once Laura finished it."

"I'm so excited to hear that. Finally, now you'll be able to stop worrying about it."

"I think i'll actually only stop worrying when this wedding is over. I'm having lunch with mom after this and then i'll come by your place okay?"

"Yes sure, i needed your opinion on something anyway."

"Great, i gotta go, my mom's waving me over. Bye."

The rest of the day went by with me playing with the girls and then eating lunch and watching a movie during their nap time. Sam came by a half an hour before Daniel arrived and helped me with a out fit choice and was sweet enough to help me get the girls ready as well.

He changed for dinner and then we set of to his parents place.

Within five minutes of walking into the Coopers home, Beth new that her mom would fit right in, she was a hugger as well. She missed her mom and hasn't physically seen her since before she had the girls. They had skyped and called but it wasn't the same as having your mom around so she welcomed the warm welcome and embraces of his family. His home Lisa was the first to hug her and take Ziya from her then planted a kiss on Daniels cheek as a greeting and followed with a kiss to Zara's cheeks. She was happily snuggling up in her fathers arms. His Dad Kevin, followed Lisa's lead and then took Zara from Daniel. He apparently loved that he is now a grandfather to 4 babies. The rest of his family hugged her before they hugged Daniel as well. She was surprised to see that his whole family were a bunch of huggers. Daniel took her coat and hung it alongside his in the coat closet in the entry hall way and then placed his hand on her lower back as way of guiding her through the house to the dinning area.
