Jessica's POV
Two months has passed since we decided to became official relationship and there were times when I had to rudely remind Daniel that at work I am nothing more than his assistant and that he should keep his hands to himself but it seems as though he thinks that the workplace is the same as high school and there are times that I have to remind myself that the both of us is fresh out of high school and that we still need to learn the rules of the general world.
So I've been very stern about the whole obtaining my reputation in the work place, I don't need a red flag on my credentials saying that I have a unprofessional relationship with my very first boss.
However, i don't attend to be working for Daniel for longer than this year and I haven't told him yet, my initial plan was to work for a year in order to help my mom with my college fee and then go to college and study medicine and the only reason I took this job was because it came at the time of need.
I probably should've told him this before I agreed to date him but I just didn't think that it might be a problem until Sam told me that it might hinder Daniel and my relationship is I were to go to a college out of state which of cause I knew but that just sort of reminded me that he needs to know about my dreams, I wasn't planning on studying out of state though because mom and Jared needs my help and he still comes to me on weekends.
At the moment it is now seven in the evening and Sam is spending the night at my place, we having a girl's night because she and Matt had a fight and she doesn't want to see him tonight. It amazes me that Sam and I still remained close friends after High school even though we don't see each other every day due to our own individual lives, she went into nursing at a local hospital that needed staff and recently finished her training.
Our dreams were always to become doctors together and work at the same hospital. "Jess, get your lazy ass up and get the popcorn and ice-cream, I'm just about ready that start this movie." "Okay. Geez, what's got you all up in my grill?
I thought it was clear that you were not allowed to be moody with me if you and Matt are mad at each other." I said as I entered the kitchen, leaving her on the sofa with a blanket draped over her. She has been extra moody since she's first walked through my apartment door today and at first I thought that they must have just had a very bad argument but now I really just think that it must be more than a bad fight. "Ohm, maybe it the fact that I'm pregnant?"
I froze when I heard her mumbled voice, "what did you just say?" I asked as I advanced towards her and sat next to her on the sofa, "I said that I'm pregnant." I was literally having an internal party until I heard myself squeal, "Oh my gosh! I'm gona be an aunty! Oh my- when did you find out? Why are you only telling me this now when I saw you last week?
Does Matt know? What did he say? Your baby is going to be the cutest thing ever, with your grey eyes and his sharp facial features!" I couldn't seem to conceal my excitement.
I've always loved babies and I think that Sam and Matt might just have conceived the next Miss universe; I mean the both of them are beautiful; their baby would be just perfect.
"Okay, Jess relax, you sound as if it's your baby. I only found out on Wednesday when I realize that I skipped my periods for two months and I wanted to tell you in person.
Matt knows since his the one who went out and bought the tests for me and his excited, he said that he always wondered what our babies would look like but then this morning when I asked him if he could Make me extra pancakes he said that I should have a fruit salad instead. I'm not even showing yet and he thinks I'm fat.
What's going to happen when I start looking like a puffer fish? We not even married so he can just up and leave if he wants to." "Did you tell Matt that you feel this way?" she shook her head at my question. "Okay, then how do you know he thinks that way? What if he just wants you to eat healthier so that the baby is healthy?
