The little shit just wanted to stir the pot, I taught her well.

The three had been chatting mindlessly, with Laura sitting on a chair near the kitchen counter.

Estrella and Logan had sat across from her, a Diet Coke in hand as she sipped the can. Wade had kept the fridge stocked since that was essentially all she would drink, except for coffee that is.

Logan settled for a cup of black coffee, despite the fact that it was almost 8 o'clock at night.

Estrella had been a bit reluctant to stay, but after nearly ten minutes of Laura begging her to stay for a game night, she caved. It, of course, had nothing to do with Logan, or his hand on her shoulder.

It had everything to do with his glorious, fucking manly hands. They could hold you, or hurt you. Either way, what bliss. evil giggle

"Really?" Logan raised a brow, staring at his daughter who was looking at Estrella strangely. "What?" Laura asked, throwing her hands up defensively. "I'm just curious."

Estrella turned to Logan, eying him with a small smile. "It's no biggie." She began, "I work at a Gas Station."

"Wade had come in, and um," She cleared her throat, "He was missing his arm, and essentially bleeding out all over the place. I'm not good with blood, or needles, so, I fainted."

At that, Laura couldn't help the laugh that left her lips. Estrella stifled a laugh as well, knowing how it must seem.

"I woke up, here actually." Estrella paused, looking around before pointing at the couch. "And, Logan, he was here with Wade."

"Logan offered to take me home, even walked me to my door." She smiled fondly, "We've been hanging out ever since."

Logan had silently watched Estrella as she recalled their initial interactions, a small smile pulling at his lips.

"Why was his arm missing?" Laura asked, eying her father who sat across from her.

Rolling his eyes, he scoffed. "Why are you fuckin' lookin' at me?" Laura raised a brow.

Frowning, Estrella watched the two, a bit confused by where exactly the conversation was going. "Look, Wade can be a handful." Logan took a sip from his mug, before continuing, "If he catches me on the wrong day, that's on him."
