The older man donning a denim jacket, he'd been sitting silently, occasionally sipping on a glass of what looked to be whiskey, whilst inhaling the smoke from a cigar.

He'd been working on a few odd jobs here and there, though he'd been getting a lot more traction, and money, all due to word of mouth.

His accuracy and hits were award-worthy.

Okay, author, we get it. Peanut is a legend.

All the extra cash needed to be spent, and Laura had no issues begging Wade for money, seeing as his inability to say no to the girl proved convenient, so she rarely asked Logan for anything.

So, with Laura always asking everyone else for money, Logan had been left with an overflow of cash, with no one to spend it.

Fellow, wattpad-ians, we all know where this is going.

Sugar daddy Logan.

Well, apart from Estrella, who'd been sweet on him for a few days now.

A smile pulled on the gruff older man's lips, watching as she walked around the bar, juggling drink after drink, tugging her short skirt down every now and then.

Taking his cigar between his teeth, he held it there, inhaling the smoke as he relished in the feeling. The way it burned his lungs, attempting to poison him.

"How do you know my top employee?" The owner, a kind elderly man, Steve asked.

"Hm?" Logan grunted, raising a brow as he eyed the owner, not having heard the question.

"How do you know Estrella?"

"She's my, um." Logan tried, furrowing his brows.

"A friend." He answered after a beat, the word feeling sour on his tongue, watching as Steve smiled, knowingly.

"Mhm, sure pal."

Logan said nothing at that, merely watching the older man pour drinks.

"My wife was older than me, by twenty years, y'know," Steve muttered, sliding drinks down the bar as Logan peered over at the others seated.

"And?"

"And, I know what it's like, that feeling." Steve smiled, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose slightly, before his shaky hand pushed them up just a bit, " Having people make assumptions. That look in your eye, kid, that's not how friends look at friends."
