Niko was furious. He was furious but also worried. It'd been about five minutes and Aj's new song had blown up. He thought that was a good thing until he saw the comments. The amount of dislikes overweighed the likes and Niko just wished that the world could be less evil. What did it matter that Aj wasn't fucking Central Cee or Stormzy?!

Ugh, Niko remembered being on set for Aj's music video and he was having the best time. He was laughing about every little thing, took nothing seriously. Why did they have to break down Aj's excitement like that? Can't the world just let Aj have one good thing?!

And these were only some of the messages that Aj was getting. Fuck, how it disgusted Niko. The world was horrible, the world was cruel and Niko just wished he could do something to save his boyfriend the pain of seeing it. But he already knew that it was too late for that. Reluctantly, Niko got up from his bed and peeked his head out the door of his bedroom. He turned his head to the left, where Aj's room was opposite his. Niko was afraid to go in, he was afraid to see his lovers tears. 

Niko slowly crept down the hallway, fearing every step. He just knew his heart was going to shatter the moment he would lay his eyes on Aj. He got to the front of his door, staring sadly at the sign that said 'do not disturb, I'm wanking off.' Aj was always a fun loving, chaotic mess of a person. It was what Niko loved about him. He'd gotten that sign one day as a joke and hung it up on Niko's door. After a little while Niko ended up taking it down and leaving it on Aj's door, where it stayed since. A bit lower was another sign that wrote 'sucking off Gojo' and it came with a sort of cartoonish looking version of the man mentioned. At the very top of Aj's door, Niko had personally engraved into the door himself, 'Aj's room, rats allowed only.' To which Aj decided to add a 'and honorary girraffe. Shush'. Yeah, Aj had somehow managed to spell giraffe. It was a memory that he knew him and Aj would never forget.

So God this was going to hurt and oh how Niko wished he could go back in time to stop it.

Niko pressed his ear gently to the door to check for any sound. Nothing. There was always usually some sort of music playing in Aj's bedroom. 

Niko didn't bother knock, he knew it would be pointless. He knew for sure Aj wouldn't answer or tell him to go away. Niko couldn't go away, not when he knew Aj was so damn hurt. He pulled down the door handle and pushed the door open. "Aje?" He called softly. The man was sitting at his desk, eyes glued to the computer he owned. "Baby?" Niko called out once more at the lack of reply. Niko heard a sniff and a heart crushing forced inhale. 

"Aje?" Niko walked over to where Aj was sat, already knowing what it is he was looking at. "Hey-" Niko put a hand on Aj's shoulder gently and Aj quickly pushed him away, staring up at him sadly.
