i dont uuuusually do trigger warnings anymore but this is genuinely really heavy in suicidal thoughts and actions. especially the last scene, so please keep that in mind if u read. i love u guys lol

Sharky's younger year memories were just of pure screaming. The walls of the small house were always vibrating with the thunder of his father's voice, harsh and furious. His mother, a woman with a kind, soft smile that rarely reached her eyes, often stood silently in the storm. His dad's anger was something that could never be predicted, always present, always ready to lash out. Sharky wasn't sure how, but he learned early on to stay quiet, to shrink into the background as if somehow his very existence might set his father off again.

At times that the fights got really bad, Sharky would retreat to his room, his safe space, where the noise felt far away. He'd bury his face in his pillow, trying to drown out the sounds of broken promises and shattered words. And, of course, he'd force his siblings into his room. trying his hardest to take care of them in times that they needed him. His mother's silence was just as deafening as her cries. She never fought back, never stood up for herself, or for her kids. It was as though she had given up a long time ago.

Then, at the age of 13, the chaos came to a sudden end. One evening, after a particularly violent fight, Sharky's father walked out the door, slamming it behind him. There was no dramatic goodbyes, no tearful last words, just the sound of the door clicking behind him. He was gone. For good...

For Sharky, it was both a relief and a deep sadness. He was free of the shouting, but the emptiness that lingered afterward was almost worse. His mother, now the only person present in her kids lives, seemed lost. She wasn't the same woman she had been before, and neither was Sharky the same kid.

In the years that followed, Sharky, and his mother tried to rebuild their lives. It wasn't easy. There were nights when she would cry, her broken heart spilling over with grief for a life that could have been perfect. She never said it, but Sharky was all too aware that his mum only married his dad because they had Sharky when she was just 16.

Sharky learned how to be there for her, knowing that all this was because of him. That his mum was only in this position because he was born.

It was all because of Sharky.

Everyone's suffering was caused by Sharky.

He grew up quickly, much faster than he would've liked to. He learnt how to look after his siblings, tried finding ways to make money and help his mum provide for the family. To be the person his dad never could be. As Sharky entered his late teens, he started to become fed up of life being so predictable. Everything was dull, and Sharky knew all too well if his life stayed this way for any longer he wouldn't make it past 25.

So Sharky took it upon himself to start being a content creator. It was a wild idea, one that could ruin everything if it went downhill. One that involved many risks, and that one mess up could leave him in a worse position than when he started. So he started lying to his mum, for the first time mind you, telling her that he was going to college. When in reality he was over at his new friend Chunkz's house making YouTube videos.

And obviously he met Kenny through Niko, who he'd met on Omegle. Looking back, Sharky was essentially the glue and the start of the Beta Squad. Having met Chunkz on Instagram, who worked with Aj in the cinema. And Niko on Omegle who'd been best friends with Kenny for years.

As they grew into the fame, it was clear that everyone had taken a liking to Sharky. Obviously because of his good looks and his sort of 'pretty boy' vibe. It grew Sharky's self confidence but also knocked down his self esteem in a way that - he wasn't really sure if he was actually good at anything.
