Lani's POV

I was with DD at the park but he told me he had a surprise for me

DD- just wait here ma I'll be right back

Lani- mhm

So I waited and was just on my phone then he came back with a box

Lani- what's that

DD- close yo eyes

I closed them and then he put a necklace around my neck. It was a real gold necklace with the letter D inside of a heart pendant.

Lani- Awww baby I love it thank youuuu

DD- yu welcome mami. Yu hungry tho?

Lani- yeah lets go get some food

DD- Ard cmon

I loved this necklace so much I never took it off. The only time I actually did was when I took a shower. when I had track practice, or cleaned it. It meant so much to me.

2 weeks later

I was walking home from track practice when these group of girls came up to me

Lani- damn it

These girls were from my track team and they were basically jealous that DD and I were together. It's not my fault he doesn't want a disease from one of those girls (lemme stop😂)

Sasha- well well well what do we have here

Lani- move Sasha I'm not in the mood today

Sasha- but you're in the mood to steal everyone's man

Lani- DD was never your man to begin with so what is talkin bout

Sasha- he was mine until yu took him

Lani- hoe is yu cool? Cuz last time I checked he NEVER EVER wanted yu

Sasha- whatever I saw what yu said on your instagram story

Lani- yeah so

Sasha- it was abt me wasn't it

Lani- I mean I tagged yu right

Sasha- bitch

And we got to fighting. Now listen ik what yall thinkin "girl yu fighting ova this boy again". WRONG!!!! I fight if I feel disrespected and calling me a bitch is disrespectful

Ion know why shorty thought she could beat me up cuz she was leaking. She must ain't do her research or seen my mugshot. ( I love myself so much bruh I can't 😂)

Her lil "minions" tried to help her but they just got beat to. After the fight I got all my stuff but my necklace wasn't on my neck I looked for it and saw it was on the ground broken.

I picked it up and ran home. When I made it I was just cryin got eyes out

Lani- that stupid bitch broke my necklace

Then my mom walked in

Mom- hi baby what's wrong

Lani- I got into a fight today and one of the girls popped my necklace DD gave me

Mom- lemme see it

I gave it to her and she made a face

Lani- can we fix it

Mom- I don't know anyone who can in our area but I'll look

Lani- mhm

Mom- in the meantime dinner is ready

Lani- I'll be down there

She gave me a hug and kiss then walked out closing the door behind her. Then I got a text from Ddot

I called Ddot and told him what happened

*ft convo*

Ddot- I mean did yu win

Lani- duh I won nigga but that's not the point

Ddot- right my fault. So what yu gon do?

Lani- idk

Ddot- Hmm. Wyd tmrw after school

Lani- I have track practice

Ddot- what time is that over

Lani- at 6 why?

Ddot- ima make some calls so we can get that necklace fixed

Lani- really

Ddot- yeah I gotchu

Lani- Eeee thank you muddy

Ddot- yu welcome. I'll see yu tmrw

Lani- ok

Ddot- safety

Lani- safety

After I got off the phone I went downstairs to eat and do my night chores. I went to bed hoping and praying someone could fix this necklace.

Hey bestie! Wyd? See I left yall on a lil cliffhanger. Ik I didn't make a story for yall yesterday I had went to the movies wit my friends  and forgot to make it for yall so sorry. New Ddot chapter coming out tn and that's a promise. One thing bout me if I make a promise I'll keep it to the fullest so I promise. And next week I will be makin the halloween chapters for yall and I might start to write in my new book called "Our love💍🫶🏼" it's abt Ddot and our girl Star Bandz. The first couple of chapters will talk abt how they met and stuff and then after that I'll bring in the "will yu marry me" series and the new chapter that I'm makin.
