"What? Go to your house?" I asked shocked.
"I assume you can't go to your house considering that those friends of yours know where you live. But they don't know where I live, and even if they do I doubt anyone would think that you would be staying with me."
"No its alright. They won't...can't harm me even if they want to. I don't want to be a burden to you, you have already helped me out so much today anyway?"
"Truthfully... I don't trust you being alone. I don't think you want to be alone either."
"I'm not going to do anything stupid, I just think...I need some time to think." I said, smiling at Anthony.
"Come on, where else would you go? You can come to think in my house, my parents are away visiting my brother at his college and they won't be back until Monday afternoon. It's Saturday and if you go away, I'd be worried about you all weekend."
"I don't want you to get involved," I said, staring out at the dogs that were let loose in the park, some making their way to us.
"I think it's a little too late for that. Besides, if you don't come, I'll tell everyone your secret." He said with a smirk.
"You can try," I said, petting a dog lying by my feet, "but no one would believe you."
"Should we test it out?" He asked, tilting his head.
"Be my guest, but you won't be successful."
"Well then," Anthony said getting up, "I'll leave it up to you, but I'm offering you someone to listen to."
I let out a small breath of air, thinking about everything. Anthony was the fit person I told about my curse in his lifetime, there were others before in other lives but in this one, I seem to be more human than in others.
Anthony was already a few steps ahead of me and I watched him walk a few more steps before I got up to follow him.
"Do you want to order food so I can tell you everything there is to say?" I asked Anthony.
"And what would you like to eat?"
I shrugged my shoulders, I think I just needed someone who would hear my stories, someone who could give me a new perspective.

Anthony's house was only a 3-minute car ride, and given the park, no cats anywhere to be found. He led me in and I took a seat in his living room. He went into his room to change out of the clothes that he was wearing.
"This," he said pointing at a room at the end of the hall as he walked out of his room with no shirt on, "is my brother's empty room, you can use it while you stay here."
"Thanks," I said trying not to look too closely at his body.
"There's a bathroom in the room if you need it."
"Thanks, do you have a charger by any chance?"
"Yeah, it's right next to you on the other side of the couch. I thought you didn't have your phone with you though?"
"I didn't. I always keep a spare in my car though."
"You keep a spare iphone in your car?" Anthony asked with much criticism.
"I do, and I also keep a spare set of keys in my locker and a spare set of everything in different locations."
"So...what did you keep in the hotel then?"
"Oh... well I guess since you already know about the curse. I was staying at the hotel with my...Monica, whom I told you was my cousin visiting from out of town. We were getting ready to go to Mass and I left my car there so that we could leave in hers."
