I had been riding my motor bike when i all of a sudden got in a crash. I was now standing on the side of the freeway, pacing. Adrenaline was coursing through every vein in my body which made me not calm down. Then i decided to try and walk down the freeway. Where? i don't even know.
I was sobbing from the burning pain intensifying. Cars kept driving by though. Only some would slow down to look at the now totaled bike before driving off again. i was panicking and shaking as well because i couldn't unlock my phone.
I then had a call come through, lighting the phones screen. The cracks on the phone made it impossible to see the caller ID though. But at this moment, i didn't care who was calling me. I was desperate for any help. My fingers shakily pressed the answer button.
"H-hello? Hey! I-I got hit- I'm on the freeway. B-But the person, the-they left. Th-the guy, h-he left after the-they h-hit me!"
I rushed out
Every breath i took was burning my lungs. I was sobbing, not hearing anyone on the other end of the line. Until i did.
"Y/n, breath baby. I need you to tell me where you are. I'm going to come get you, sweetheart. Don't worry about the bike right now. i'll handle it."
Hearing his voice made me relax but my body was still shaking.
-----
After a short while, he arrived. He rushed over to me, arms open. I fell into his arms, crying.
"It's ok... Hey, i need you to look at me."
He said, cupping my face.
I stared up at my enemy, Colby. His eyes filled with fear and worry.
