Colby's POV:

Right now, me, Nate, Sam, Corey, Tara, Kat, and Alex were all hanging out.

"Hey, Colby?" Nate asked.

"Yea bro? What's up?" I replied.

"Who's that y/n girl you all go on about?" He asked.

"Oh, that's Sam's sister."

"Where is she?" Then Sam joined in.

"She ran away a few years ago." Nate looked over at Sam.

"Oh, i'm sorry. Why did she run away?"

"She'll rather be a lover than a fighter." Then Alex joined in.

"Cause all her life she'd been fighting." At this point, everyone was listening in and joined our conversation.

"She never felt a feeling of comfort." Corey said.

"All that time she'd been hiding." Kat said as she sat next to Sam who was getting a bit emotional talking about Y/n.

"And she felt like she never had someone to call her own." Tara said.

"She was so use to sharing." I said, looking down at my hands and sighed.

"Love only left her alone most of the time." Sam said, putting an arm around Kats shoulder.

"She was at one with the silence." Seth replied.

"She found peace i the violence." Tara mentioned.

"Can't show her there's no point in trying." Corey said.

"She's at one. She had been quiet for so long." Kat said as she rested her head on Sam's shoulder.

"She found peace in the violence. Can't show her, there's no point in trying." Sam mumbled, trying not to cry really.

"She's at one. She had been silent for so long." I said as i noticed Sam getting emotional. I got up and went over to hug him. Kat hugged him with me and when he calmed down i sat back down.

"I'm sorry for bringing it up. It must be hard for you, Sam." Nate apologized.

"No, no. It's fine. It's hard on Colby too. How are you not emotional either Colby?" Sam asked.

"How's it hard on you too?" Nate asked me. I sighed and looked down at my hands again, not waiting to say it so Sam said it for me.

"She was Colby's girlfriend at that time too." I nodded.

"Oh. How are you not as sad about it?" Nate asked.

"I've come one with the silence of not hearing her around anymore."
