They Forgot Your Birthday

Today was both me and Stas's birthday. I showed up to Sam, Kat, and Colby's house right when Stas did. I walked up to the door right as Stas was going to go in. She noticed me and smiled.

"Hey birthday twin! Happy Birthday!"

I giggled and we hugged.

"Happy birthday to you too!"

I said cheerfully and we went in.

We walked into the kitchen to see Sam and Kat had a birthday cake on the table, but the thing was... 

It only said:

Happy Birthday Stas!!

My smiled faded and Stas noticed. Before either of us could speak, Sam and Kat smiled and spoke.

"Happy birthday Stas!"

Sam said as he pulled her away from me and they both hugged her.

"Happy birthday!"

Kat squealed happily.

They started singing happy birthday to her, but I zoned out a little while i thought in my head:

They're singing happy birthday
I just wish i could run away
Who cares about a birthday?

Sam pulled me out of my thoughts when he spoke to me.

"Come on Y/n, cheer up! It's Stas's birthday."

"Gu-"

Stas tried to say but Kat cut her off.

"Can't you be optimistic?"

Sam nodded. Stas gave me a sorry look as Sam spoke,

"Yea."

Sam said as Colby came downstairs. He had 2 gift bags in each hand and set them on the table.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late."

He kissed my forehead gently.

"Happy birthday, my baby."

I smiled a little.

"You remembered."

I mumbled as he rested his forehead against mine and chuckled.

"How could i possibly forget?"

"Y/n...."

Sam started and Colby pulled away, standing next to me.

"I am so so sorry."

Kat said and she came over and hugged me.

"I'm sorry too."

Sam said as he hugged me too.
